I am local and I was struggling to find a good garage around the area.
I brought my car two times recently to this garage.
Both of the times they gave me a really good service. Very honest person and good price.
I have recommend this garage to a few friends and they now all think the same way.
Even if i live in Bowness, still worthy to come to Ambleside.
Very happy with them.
Was in grasmere and realised we'd got a puncture.
Rang youngs and they fit us in the same day. Did the coffin route from ambleside to grasmere and back. By the time we'd done it, our tyre was replaced.
Nice guys/reasonably priced and professional.

Really great service and helpful staff. They fixed my tire after getting a nail in it while down in the lakes on a family trip!
just want to say a massive thank you to the gentleman that assisted us with an issue we had with our windscreen wipers due to us only visiting & living a 2 hour drive away thanks to him we were able to get home safely.
Quick fix required for a screw embedded in tyre. Drove there hoping to book for following day. Assessed and took in vehicle there and then. Tyre fixed later that afternoon. Excellent friendly service and outstanding value. Thanks.
Got a flat tyre, the garage was super busy and still they spent time talking us through options to help us get back on the road. Didn’t even laugh at us when we realised we couldn’t get the wheel off just because we’d forgotten to take the caps off… would recommend!
This is an easy review. Everything you want a garage to be but they so rarely are!
Friendly, helpful, happy to explain the obvious, clearly priced and explained up front - an absolute joy to engage with.
Felt like I had known them for years.
My only regret is that they aren’t local to me!
