It was recommended to us, so we took family as a treat. It was OK.
Some of the staff were excellent and really nice, others were a bit snotty when we wanted to order more than one main dish between five people. Everything is served together on one plate for everyone to share.
The food wasn't bad, but I've had better, although the roast duck was succulent and not fatty. There is a large selection of dishes, and it was nice to be able to try several dishes for the one price. Even so, I don't think we had enough to justify the cost of almost £30 per person, especially as we had to pay for a child who didn't eat anything.
The toilets weren't very clean, although the restaurant was.
Accessibility - step to access a narrow door. I didn't notice any accessible entrance or toilets.
Very noisy, but popular restaurant. All you can eat food and extensive menu.. but god forbid you order more than they think you will eat, they get very sarcastic if there are any leftovers! We left very little of our main course, but it did not go down well!! The toilets had overflowing bins and were not overly clean.. I've been to much better.
Have been here several times and always go for the evening buffet. Which you can do at lunch or dinner time. It £29.99 a person but you can eat, as much as you like. The portions are small which is great as it means you can have lots of different things rather than the masses they give you when you order a take away. Service is always good, food hot and delicious. Really recommend.
Friendly staff, tasty food, not your regular Chinese take away.
We really appreciated the care the chef took and it shows -- from neatly julienned carrots and cucumbers accompanying the dishes, fresh roast duck (succulent, not the refried stuff slathered in sauce you get in most take aways), fresh fish and prawns.
Given, it's not the most authentic 'Chinese' Chinese -- there are the usual mish mash to try and please different palates -- including Malaysian and Thai. (Where 'Thai' flavours really mean sweet and spicy sauce. Thai food aficionados will recognise the lack of fresh chilli, fish sauce, or usual spices.
Like most Chinese restaurants, you'll get the usual canned bamboo shoot and water chestnut creeping unnecessarily into the dishes. Nevertheless, for flavours and choice, this is a great find.
We ate here on Sunday and there's a choice of dishes you can choose from for about £17 per person, so it's great value if you'd like to try many dishes. The portions are tapas-like so it's an incentive to have a bit of this and that.
I would highly recommend if you like Oriental flavours.
I don't normally leave reviews unless something is very good or very bad. unfortunately the meal I just had was really bad. I can't think of one good thing to say about it. No idea why it's so popular but just goes to show what rubbish people are prepared to eat. wont be goign back or recommending it to anyone
Lots to choose from & it keeps coming until you’re full. Small sized portions good as you get to try more, like having Chinese tapas. Service fast & friendly. I extra like the muscles in blackbean sauce & the Malaysian dishes????????
Food is absolutely amazing. The restaurant itself needs a lot of work. Looks cheap and tacky but the food makes up for it
Lovely food amazing service polite and friendly my only criticism is that the drinks are very pricey that's the reason for 4 stars the actual food is 5 star plus
