Best KPortal Reviews
Yaadgar - which means memorable, is a place which you enter into and experience a bit of the Indian subcontinent, reminisce the tastes that Pakistan has to offer.
The shop offers a variety of fried savoury items such as pakoras, samosas, katlamas, kebabs as well as others which are freshly fried in front of your eyes.
As I was craving some desi nashta, I thought to pick up a portion of breakfast which comprised of halwa, channa and three pooris, a great value at £4. More so, if you have a slightly above average appetite, the portion should suffice for 2 people.
I was tempted to get a portion of fresh pakoras however due to my expanding waist size, I resisted the urge.
The food itself was not overly oily which is a good thing and was quite flavoursome. The channa and halwa marry well with each other as the sweet rich taste is balanced off nicely with the slightly spicy savoury item.
All in all, very good value for a decent tasting breakfast. The only negative is that you could end up eating too much so as long as you can control your desires then feel free to try this place.
Very poor service. Usually love the Jalebi but very bad experience. I asked if Jalebi was fresh, and was reassured that it was. Staff went outside and must have put me some really old Jalebi. When got home could not even serve to guests, thats how old and nasty it was. Also given kebab burgers and told they were warm, but luckily realised in the shop they were cold..so got them reheated. Just a lack of regard for customers and blatantly lying and being dishonest. Have lost myself, friends, and my family members as customers. Such a shame as this used to be a good place.
Katlama nice crispy may need oil change Samosa chat mum said it not that nice wasn't great big let down for my mum brother no offence used better when it was pakora shop they do freshly made jalebi outside the shop if are Habib jalebi staff may be future security guards in making
Food is made fresh daily, beats out all other local shops. Excellent service and delicious food. Only issue is no proper queue system people just barge in and expect to be served first.
Their jalebi is so good, other sweet shops seem to fry their jalebis in the same oil as samosas/pakoras etc, but these guys fry it separately which means no nasty background flavours. Chaat and samosas are good and fresh as well. Dont go to any other shop just go to yaadgaar
Best jalebi in Birmingham can’t get any better. Foods always made fresh Infront of you.
Also now sell biryani for only £2.99 and tastes amazing.
Good service .
A lovely place for breakfast. I really like the fact that they don’t slather too much oil in their chick peas curry. Amazing Parathas. The staff here are delightful too :) I’d definitely recommend this place!
Very nice shop for sweet and snacks
Lovely and tasty katlama and samosa & lots of order stuff, samosa chaat or chana chaat, they do support crunchy julabi
