A traditional chippy serving top notch food. A wonderful warm welcome from the couple who run it. We travel a fair distance to go to it, so blast the chips through our air fryer when we get home to heat them up. They remain delicious.
The best around. Moved to the area 2 years ago, have tried all the chippys in the local vicinity. (Driving distance before getting cold), Codnor, heanor. Riipley etc: Wudus is by far the best. Value for money, great portions and all cooked fresh. Even the onion rings made with freshly cut onions. Not Frozen and re-fried.

Been here 3 times first time was ok second and third time was terribly poor I wouldn't go again really poor food and the staff need to take some happy pills for god's sake. Smile ????
Terrible service the lady just had no customer service experience at all just grunted at me, never smiled once, her apron was dirty.
Mushy peas were just one small dollop on the chips, battered sausage tasted like it had been sat there for hours, even my dog turned his nose up at it.
Never again.
Definitely would not recommend it.
Had food from here tonight. Everyone had something different . Fish and chips scampi and chips, kebab and a double burger, everything was cooked perfect, huge portions and not bad prices either, and fast delivery. Def recommend lovely treat food. Thank-you.
Friendly owners and all cooked to order! Two cod and chip specials, two sausages and a tray of kebab meat cost us £20 exactly. The food is so fresh and tastes amazing!
Good quality well cooked food at a reasonable price, Real friendly chatty man behind the counter. This is the first time ive used wudus chippy and definitely not the last.
