Anyone who considers themselves a Stokie has to enjoy two things: oatcakes and Wright's Pies. Always better to support your local Wright's than a nationalised giant like Greggs.
Staff nice but nearly snapped a tooth on a sausage roll the pastry was like a brick! And feel sick after eating just the sausage.
I go in regularly after the afternoon school run - they have continually got my salad box order wrong. Cheese is pre-grated and plastic like. The lettuce today tasted like soap - absolutely awful. Not edible at all. Some of the staff can be quite abrupt. Won’t be in a rush to go again
Shared car park with the Tesco express next to it. Shop was well presented and clean. Staff were super polite and cater for my needs, went out their way to help.
Food was as excellent as always from there.
Bee was lovely. Very friendly & professional & so was her sister (I think it was anyway) I enjoy her fresh baps that are on display. Very clean & tidy just like the shop ???????? We’ll definitely come again
You would think that they would expect people to come in at lunchtime so you would think they would have things cooked ready and be stocked up. Been in here the last 3 weeks with my kids who want sausage rolls. Never have have any ready and always a 15-20 minute wait for them. Why not have them ready for the lunchtime rush. Also since the business has been taken over they have got rid of a lot popular items. Used to love the pork pies and the Bavarian donuts but they've disappeared.
Wow my bacon and cheese puff was absolutely phenomenal. So puffy and tasty. Staff were very happy, friendly and polite a credit to the manager Dee
Big wrights fan on my lunch hour, Visited here quite a lot over the years but I have to say there’s a newish lady now with glasses possibly late 30s who is so friendly and always helps me leave with a smile, so just a quick thank you I’m sorry I don’t yet know her name I’m sure I will soon enough.
