We love a visit to Woodys, the coffee shop that's nestled in The Koi Pool aquatic shop.
We just has a drink and an ice cream but it's always lovely sitting next to their beautifully manicured pond out the back. It's so tranquil. You really feel that you are sat in a Japanese garden, rather than in a cafe at a garden/aquatic centre.
Lovely little find, felt like we'd gone to visit friends or family, extremely helpful, friendly and attentive staff, nothing too much trouble, an extra Lotus biscuit for our two boys, so they didn't feel left out while we had one with our hot drinks. Generous cake portions and tasted great too. Thank you for cheering us up on a wet afternoon ????. Cosy atmosphere and comfortable seating too.

We nip in here every now and then while our daughter is at gymnastics down the road. The women behind the counter are all lovely. Always a nice cup of tea and a sandwich. Good prices too.
Just got back and iwas very disappointed took my granddaughter and great granddaughter for lunch very limited menu i option for baby we had a very long wait double the time we were expecting my coffee was drank 15 min before my medal came. Had cheese and onion toastie which was barely warm I was hungry so I ate it but it was two slices of bread toasted in a fashion certainly not a toastie like I normally have. There were people around but certainly not mad busy I couldn’t understand the wait but maybe only 1 does the cooking . I’m sorry but I will not be recommending Woodys
Recommend the coffee and the service. Unfortunately for somewhere that serves breakfast they had no bacon or sausage. Opted for scrambled eggs which was a little underwhelming and overcooked and a cheese toastie that lacked taste. Not a bad place for a stop but needs a little extra effort.
Very picturesque out in the garden by the pond. Inside a lovely comfy settee. The staff are very friendly and welcoming well worth a visit
