I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wongs, and it felt like discovering a a hidden gem. We decided to try the mixed hors d’oeuvres, Special fried rice, lemon chicken, crispy duck, crispy shredded beef etc,and wow, they were very good- just the right amount of spice and packed with flavor. The staff there are genuinely friendly, making me feel welcomed and valued. It's not just a meal at wongs, it's an experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I visited this restaurant recently and I was utterly shocked when receiving the receipt, They had added a £1.10 extra charge on to the drinks, Charging £3.10 when on the menu it stated £2, I know it’s not a huge difference but it’s the principle of trying to scam customers, Furthermore the coke can they gave me was from a multipack which stated not to be sold separately however that wasn’t the case in this restaurant, I am just shocked with this poor service that I have received even after they tried to justify having new menus, But to be honest the as a whole restaurant it’s not the greatest, The food was oily and quite fatty, I had to send some dishes back. And to end it all off they tried to charge service charge with their service being utterly poor, I just thought they were taking advantage of their customers… Will not be returning!

Tried this place as it seemed to be recommended on local social media. Attentive, friendly staff. My order arrived quickly after ordering and I went home looking forward to my meal. Unfortunately I cannot say that the food was good. Beef and chicken chow mein was very greasy and tasteless. Chips were inedible and the prawn crackers were soggy. The sweet and sour chicken balls were okay but that's about as good as it got. It's a shame but I cannot recommend Wongs and won't return.

First time trying this spot after searching for the best Chinese takeaway in Romford.

We was impressed with the quality of food, taste and quantity. The pricing was also affordable compared to other takeout restaurants.

They do a free delivery service which was nice.

Will definitely order again.

Still great food but the portion sizes have reduced significantly.

I get that prices are going up everywhere and the restaurant has to cover their costs, but the rice and chow mein portions are half the size they were before.

We'll still get take out from here as the food is excellent, just a little less often

I Found this great little place by accident and only used it because our usual place was closed, thank goodness they was because Wongs food is amazing. Smoked chicken and salt and chilli ribs are my favourite.

We tried a few takeaways which were really tasty and full of flavour. We decided to pop there for a sit down meal and we wasn’t disappointed. The staff are very helpful and polite. Nothing bad to say about this great little place.

I ordered a delivery I got special fried rice crispy shredded beef and chicken balls £22.50 I was shocked at the price and the food was not that great and the special fried rice was more like boiled rice and the crispy beef was soo sweet and sticky and it looked like half a portion not even free prawn crackers I would never order from here again I don't know how this place is still running
