I haven't give 5 stars as sometimes at wok and chopstick on southcoates lane as ifs a bit hit and miss with the food and can be a bit expensive.also you get that many different menus the price you see on the menu you have is usually wrong and keeps rising as they say you have an old menu but it is wrong and you should get your food for the price on the menu you have.not good at all and they only take cash which can be difficult sometimes as everybody doesn't carry cash and they do have a card reader.not good.
I get a pretty substantial takeaway from here once a month, and they've earned a top review. The young Chinese lady who normally takes orders and runs the serving counter is always smiling and polite, and speaks great English. It is appreciated, keep it up! The takeaway itself has an open kitchen which always looks very clean, and they have full counter shielding from the Covid days helping keep the kitchen and food safe. The food has always been good for us; bbq ribs are always meaty and fall off the bone, the crispy chicken wings are restaurant standard not KFC standard, the Szechuan sauce is nice and spicy, the Singapore noodles packed with ingredients - literally everything we've ordered has been at least really good. I highly recommend them!
Ordered chicken green pepper and black bean sauce. Never seen so much garlic in a meal in my life. If I wanted garlic chicken thats what I would of ordered. Totally spoilt my meal. Had to throw away.
Order from here regularly, staff are lovely, food is banging and not greasy or heavy, kitchen is open and you can see how clean it is.
They set the bar for how a Chinese takeaway should be.
Spent over £45 on a family meal found numerous hairs in the food, rang up said it was impossible because the chef had no hair, so I visited the next day to find a chef with a full head of hair same colour as found in food!! Never will I order here again ????
THE FOOD WAS SO NICE , I ATE THE CHICKEN CHOW MEIN AND HONESTLY I THINK ITS BETTER THAN THE CHINESE TAKEAWAY I USED TO EAT AT , WOULD 100% RECOMMEND (note to myself bc why not , no sauce bc i prefer dry noodles) the delivery might be a bit slow but its worth it for the food????
Absolutely disgusting will NEVER order from here again. DISGUSTING.
First time ordering from here never again got chicken curry rice and chips chips are lovely and so is there rice but the chicken in the curry is like rubber awful cheap nasty chicken never again
