The parking for this restaurant is pretty easy. Directly outside is meter and one block away it's residential.
The food portion was great and the roasted beef noodle has plenty of big chunks of meat. And the meats are juicy and succulent.
The veggies have soul, it's delicious with hint of garlic, not too much not too little bit of salt.
The pricing is pretty decent too.
Above average Cantonese with accessible street parking.
I use to always get roast pork over rice take out but this time decided to dine-in and to be quite honest, the entrées were quite large and tasty. The braised fish fillet and tofu casserole is my all-time favorite Cantonese dish and basically I try that at every new restaurant and Wo Kee didn’t disappoint. Pan fried noodle in my opinion had way too much fried noodles and not enough sauce but other than that the flavor was on point.
Excellent. Authentic chinese food. Not that average nasty neighborhood chinese restaurant. We had lemon chk, steak w/chinese broccoli, shrimpfr, Peking pork chops, beef chow fun w/gravy, lobster Cantonese and string beans w/garlic sauce. All excellent
This is a nice place to go to if you want something casual, you don't feel like cooking or want something different for a change. The ambience is nice, the staff courteous, service is quick. This is a no-frills place. The food is good and the portions huge. They served us piping hot tea upon arrival. We started with barbecue chicken and vegetable spring rolls. For the main course we ordered fish fillet cooked with spicy cabbage and shrimp Mei Fun. We had to order white rice separately as it didn't come with the entree. The Mei Fun was delicious. The portion is so huge that 2 people can comfortably share it. The fish portion was big too. The only thing about the fish was that the sauce was too oily. We, a family of 4 ate dinner and brought home enough leftovers for lunch then next day!
I brought the Peking duck . It was served do choppy. It did not look appealing. I ate it and got food poisoning the next day. Had 3 days of diarrhea. Will never go back. If u want good duck. Go to China town in Manhattan. The best ????
Great tasting food , affordable prices awesome atmosphere and friendly service.
Me and my wife always eat here like twice a month. We even bring the whole family and they enjoy it. Reasonable price food. They also have the soup dumpling. The tea was good.
I actually prefer Tasty House in Flushing but we were caught in the rain near St John's for the day. I always see it passing by so we finally had an opportunity to try it out. Food is pretty good and fresh. They don't have lai fun noodles which is what I wanted but they do have a good selection of other noodles to pick from. The woman serving us was nice and patient with us and helpful. The portions are good. I wish this place was here when I was a student still at St John's so I didn't have to trek out to Flushing after class all the time.
