The most quaint and cute little square village. A lot of branded named shops but also very pretty at Christmas ???? I walked around with my elderly grandparents and it was perfect for them; not too far to walk..... Well anywhere but lots of things to see and places to stop. Gullivers bookshop and cloisters cafe are just the most beautiful shops with lovely staff. Buses run fairly frequently right from the square and it is always clean tidy and quiet.
Love to visit Wimborne, fantastic architecture, nice shops, church... It's very British, classy town. And right now, they have lovely Christmas lights display.
We were exploring Dorset in our campervan, and came across some lovely little independent shops, well worth a visit
Wimborne Square now has a selection of cafes which make it a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. The mix of independent and good quality high street shops makes for a happy shopping experience and a lovely day out.
Famous Pub serving famous Yorkshire Beers in good condition . Nice warm glowing feeling in the Winter time -.
The Nusara Thai Restaurant is opening in on Friday 5th August tucked away in Crown Court just off The Square. It is a delightful place to visit, the the detailed design & decor is wonderful and authentic looking. It is very spacious with 90 covers inside and 60 covers outside. A delightful balcony partially runs around the restauranton the first floor, and the outside alfresco courtyard with its authentic umbrellas and heaters with beautiful matching rattan furniture makes this venue a wonderful setting for dining & drinking, as well as being a wonderful venue to hold events, weddings & parties due to its unique secluded location.
Lovely area within the idyllic Wimborne Minster with a good range of places to sit and relax with a drink, surrounded by a great range of quality shops that you'd actually want to frequent. Everything about this place is wonderful, with cheap parking if you're unlucky to not find some free on-street parking. Will definitely be a place to return to. Only sad thing is the demise of banks which have pulled out, other than Nationwide Building Society (thank goodness for them!).
Quaint little town, lots of nice shops and cafes. Ideal for a day out.
