This used to be the best chip shop in the area, but since it has changed ownership, the experience has been abysmal. There was no one at the til when we walked in and the “large” portion of chips were woefully lacking in quantity, inconsistent in size (with some absurdly large like roast potatoes) and they tasted like old oil. This will be the last time I’ll come here.
Avoid! Worst I've ever had. Chips stone cold and dry, meagre portions, poor quality and size. Curry and peas watery and bland. More like gravy. I do not recommend. Imagine what they do with the fish.
The previous owners ran a lovely chippy for over 20 years. The new owners have blown it in months.
An absolute disgrace, without doubt the worst burger I have ever ordered, half pounder but sent one patty and look at the state of it? Chips were cold, This is embarrassing! AVOID
Great prices and brilliant, crispy chips. Love the interesting fish posters to look at while waiting for order. Staff are super friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Good old traditional chippy, bigger portions and half the price of Brockleys rock for a Cod and chips, plus excellent quality fish.

Absolutely heartbreaking I've eaten here for over 20+ years the old owners watched my son go from a baby in arms to a grown up, since it's been taking over the food is absolutely disgusting and gone down hill won't be using them anymore ???? times have moved on shame.
been coming here since i was in primary school (for 7 years) and it never disappoints. Lovely people and amazing food and it’s so well priced.
