Friendly and reliable garage. Very quick turnaround for my MOT test and at a reasonable price.
Needed the coolant topping up in my car so gave these guys a ring and they told me to pop straight over.i believe a gentleman called mark greeted me (sorry if I got your name wrong) who was very polite and friendly and promptly topppd the fluid up for me.thank you Wilson bros garage very nice first interaction I will be returning.
This garage has definitely got the thumbs up from me, Found them extremely helpful. My sons car had problems when he was 120 miles from home, this was the only garage that said to bring it in for them to look at and they will do there best to get it sorted so he can get back home. They did and done a very good job at a fair price, A credit to this place as there are not many left that will go out of there way to help you get back on the road the same day anymore. Just phoned them about a flat tyre. Excellent service and totally trustworthy. Could have easily told me I needed a new tyre but actually only needed to change the valve which was much cheaper. Been using them for years and they have always been excellent.
A fantastic garage - been using them for two years and they provide an honest, reliable service. Would recommend, if like me, in the past you have had trouble trusting a garage - these guys can be relied upon to be very reasonable and not claim something needs fixing when it doesn't. I never write reviews but they really deserve a mention!
Been using these for MOT''s for a few years.
MOT'd car which passed with no issues, booked same car in for a service a few weeks later, was then advised that the brakes were dangerously worn and need immediate replacement - funny how that would happen in a couple of weeks without them being shown up on the MOT as as something to keep an eye on?
What was it, substandard MOT or rip off unrequired work??
Never returning to the place.
I've had two MOTs with these guys, one on an old Golf which failed on a couple of bits. They were able to recommend someone to do the work just around the corner. The second MOT on a Touran, which passed with no advisories.
I've always seen MOTs as an opportunity for garages to make a bit of money off you if they feel like it. Having had two where they've done what's necessary and no more I feel confident in recommending Wilson Bros.
On a side note I did ask if they'd swap a gearbox for me, but they said it wasn't their sort of thing, which is fair enough. I get the impression from this and other reviews that they're happy to do basic stuff for you, but don't want to be bothered with tougher and more specialised jobs.
I realised on the day my car needed an MOT and after most garages couldn't help on the same day, I called Wilson Bros Garage and it was no problem for them to book me in and do the MOT within the hour, great service and really friendly, I recommend them to anyone.
