Had my daughters baby shower we had afternoon tea was amazing the staff are amazing so helpful lovely place for special occasions also highly recommend the full menu A*****
Good food cooked well. Friendly staff and nice easy going quiet atmosphere. Visit during the Easter holidays at 11am on a week day.
Delicious food at a fair price. Lovely play area for kids with outdoor seating so you can enjoy you meal while the kids play.
Nice little cafe, food looked lovely ( had cake) was a bit bland but others in the group had beautiful flavours. Reasonable price. Attended for a birthday party. Toilets are across the car park, can be problematic when you have more than one child. Great visit. Will come again.
2 stars from us I’m afraid. Ordered a children’s bacon sandwich and it arrived as half a sandwich literally one slice of bread! (did you eat the other half?) 6 year old was hungry an hour later ????
Also a bit of a frosty welcome on arrival from the older lady who worked there, the other young lady’s were really friendly!
The other thing we were a bit dissatisfied with was that the toilets were outside the building across a then busy car park- not ideal for young children learning to potty.
Good children’s play area but didn’t blow the bouncy castle up till 11am despite being open from 9?!
Overall this place could make some simple changes to improve customer experience. And maybe a disabled toilet in the cafe building itself as the car park isn’t disabled friendly (gravel) impossible to get a wheelchair across!
Looked on Google for 'Afternoon teas near me' and all that came up was central York, but nothing near to Clifton Moor. So discouraged we just decided to go into the next cafe we passed.
This was Willow Farm cafe...and what luck. One of the best afternoon teas we've had and definitely the biggest meal! Sandwiches, wraps and salad/coleslaw and crisps, see my photo. Only thing we missed was dainties, but all the cakes included were very very nice. Everything was fresh and very tasty, plus the staff were all very nice and friendly. We added a milk shake for my son and it last only a couple of minutes it was so more'ish! All of this for under £40 to.
Google add Willow Farm to my afternoon tea search!
Came back for my son's birthday as it was so good the first time, little concerned that it might disappoint 2nd time round...
No Worries, either as good or better, just look at the photos. Well done all at Willow Farm cafe & thankyou!
Food was really nice
Service to take order was a little slow after been seated but food came quickly
No signs for toilets
Good value for money
Willow breakfast Feast picture
Such a lovely cafe! Really good play area for children. Breakfast is amazing and huge (we ordered one and shared between two)! Right next to the glamping pods and caravan park, which was very convenient for us.
