A real time capsule, the atmosphere is old school New Jersey diner. They have a great special, 3 sliders with fries and a drink for $10. Ask for extra pickles. The sliders are perfectly cooked, great flavor. Solid fries and hot dogs too
Having heard a lot of hype behind this place, I went with my family on a Saturday night to have some dinner here. Walked in at around 7 PM and it was empty, but after we ordered stuff and ate, people started trickling in and eventually the place was decently full.
The service was very hospitable. The worker there was a very friendly man and the exchange we had while ordering was very nice. We ended up ordering the two of the specials of 3 cheeseburger sliders, fries, and a drink for $10 which was a pretty good deal. We also got a cheesesteak, which we expected to be a sub but ended up being a sandwich instead.
The food was phenomenal. The burgers were juicy and full of flavor, I ended up eating them pretty quickly. They were so good, I ended up ordering a quarter pounder to try it and it tasted just as good. The fries were nice as well, I don’t really expect much out of fries if I’m being honest but these were crispy. The cheesesteak sandwich we got was also very delicious.
As for the atmosphere, it definitely feels like a time capsule of the 30s ( if that makes sense ). Very homely vibe, feels like a place you can just pop in very quick then pop out satisfied. Overall really happy with my experience here.
I’ve driven past this place regularly over the past twenty years or so. Never thought to stop and try until I heard a buzz about “manna” burgers on SM and recalled their slogan, “Original Manna Brurger”. The entire area looks like a construction staging area for all of Manhattan. Trucks, mechanics and floor tile shops all around- nothing to see here OR the perfect place to hide a treasure. White manna is for the burger-seeker , the committed type that endures the let downs of the overly hyped. They…we hope that you never find White Manna. We like to keep these places to ourselves. But, honestly, I can’t do this to you. Go. Grab the special, it includes three big sliders, fries and a drink at early 1980’s prices in a 1960’s setting. They earned the hype. this place is an awesome burger time capsule. The burgers are made to order and fantastic Smashburger. Now this place is CASH ONLY and don’t be afraid to order when you want more, the cook has a great personality lol . If in the area check it out

You have to eat here! It’s burger history and each slider was delicious! The special of 3 cheese burgers, fires and a drink for $10 is one sweet deal. The meat is fresh, and nothing is over salted!
I was talking to the cook who has been flipping burgers since 1986 which is longer than I have been alive.

Defiantly worth the stop, not sure if they are really bucket list/best burger worthy burgers, but they are 100% worth the $$ and the place itself is historic and does not disappoint. Get the pickles! (On the side) and if you are starving when you walk in, order fries, they come out quickly and you can snack before the burgers are done.
