Unbelievable, how long does it take to make 2 bacon Cheeseburgers and a small fry. I sat at the pickup window 9 MINUTES! This was a online order. On top of it all both burgers tasted like sawdust and day old bread. The best part of the vist the window CSR was extremely kind and polite.
Went to white castle on LaGrange Road for a bite to eat and this was horrible. First of all the cashier that took our order was in such a rush to get off work that she didn't share ant details with the other person that came behind her which was another young lady! Secondly we were standing there waiting on our food for over 20 minutes and we should have requested a refund but bcuz I was hungry and wanted some cravers I waited ????. There was only 3 people working in there and I salute them because the manager left them and went in the back and disappeared for over 20 minutes and the food was horrible. Me and my husband decided now that unless the regular manager that is usually there is not working, we will take our business elsewhere!
This place could be better for sure. I am a fan of White Castle and was disappointed when I took my family here. They missed items on our order, messed up our order and didn’t make it right the following time. They didn’t offer forks to us for our waffles which are messy so that’s fun. The cashier was touching her face over and over again while taking our order. The manager took a sandwich back to add the toppings that were rang in correct but missed and returned it back 10 min later…. Same sandwich and it was not eaten obviously because it was so old and cold at this point. A few simple things could have made our order and dine in experience much better.
I always love white castle. However the last 3 times I've gone thru the drive thru its been BAD. 2 Times in a row I asked for everything on my burgers .only to be disappointed when I bit into a DRY burger. I never complained. Tonight I checked my burgers before pulling away. You guessed it no mustard n ketchup. I told the guy 2 times. The girl that took my money was a deer in the headlights. They remade my Sliders w. So much mustard n ketchup they weren't edible. It's was like she did it for spite. It wasn't my fault . I'm never going back except to see the manager.
We ordered food last night, a crave case and two fries, The online ordering said it would be done at 8:34 PM. we’ve ordered there before and they’re always about 10 minutes behind so we gave them 20 extra minutes and at 8:54 PM. The man behind the counter was extremely rude and barked at me that the order wasn’t ready yet and I told him we ordered a crave case 40 minutes ago and that I would need a refund of my money they were extremely rude and I’ll never be visiting that White Castle again. 40 minutes for some White Castle????♂️
As a fisherman and volunteer down at nearby Santa Fe Prairie, I've been to this place dozens of times over 20 years and have always been pleased.
One disappointment we had was when they stopped selling cheap bags of ice some years ago. We go through a lot of ice/beverages while fishing on the Des Plaines River at Santa Fe Prairie, and this was always a reliable source. It'd be GREAT if you could bring it back!
My special thanks to the kid at the drive-through at 15:25 on 9 February. I ordered a simple medium fries, no salt, and when I drove up to the window to pay, this bloke took a look at me and recaculated the price for me to include a senior discount. He's definitely a consciencious employee, but sadly, I did not get his name.
Good job, guys.
This is one of my favorite stops during lunch time at work I stopped by this White Castle and get you in and out very good service very good people that work there
Great service and fast. The sliders were a lot better here at 11pm than at other locations at any time of day.
