Didn't like the food. The dumplings were not homemade, they tasted like they came out if a can, the baked beans tasted like they came out of a can and were not even warm. I didn't realize it until I left but the meal was suppose to be $9.99 but they charged me $10.40. And no that wasn't the tax it was added at the bottom.
A cute dive of a diner with friendly customers. It was not very busy, but still took some time to get food, but the portions were good and prices very reasonable
Great food, great service, great environment. Love the all you can eat catfish. I’ve never had a bad experience at Whistle Stop Cafe.

I believe this place has one of the better breakfasts in the tri- town area. Great prices, too.
Had the $6 breakfast special. Two eggs, two sausage, biscuit, and hash browns. Also got a side of homemade gravy for the biscuit. Everything was very delicious. My wife had the same thing, but also couldn't resist getting a slice of coconut cream pie which she said was yummy. The server was very attentive and personable. We will be back.
Decent food, had the Reuben sandwich, one of the better ones I've had. I was told the chicken was good but would be better if it was salted more. My kids enjoyed the bacon cheeseburgers but said their bacon was too crispy. Service was a bit weird but she was a new waitress so I'm sure she will be fine once she gets the hang of it.
The tea was extremely soured and disgusting but “freshly made”. Wouldn’t replace the chips with potato salad but we could purchase it for 2.00 extra. It wasn’t worth 50 cents of all the mustard in it. Then she only brought one out even though it was stated we both wanted potato salad. Also I’m feeling my arteries clogging as I type from the half way hot salty ham and cheese sandwich. The waitress was a mean old hag who stated she was retired and doesn’t normally work. The other waitress was yelling about staff infection being clean out the entire time we ate. As a caregiver for the elderly that is not something I want to think about while eating. Although we didn’t get charged for the awful tea, that was the absolute worst place I have ever ate. 0 stars
