Typical diner / cafe. Friday fish / shrimp fry was terrific and is done all day Friday. I really liked how the shrimp were battered. Came with choice of potato and I did the baked potato with butter and sour creme. Comes with salad bar, which was smaller though sufficient.
Note that they bring the fish and shrimp to you and if you want more just ask and they bring more out fresh, which was fine.
Friendly staff, directed us to a park in old Frontenac where we could sit with our dog to enjoy the food. We also had a broiled chicken sandwich with bacon which was excellent!
Atmosphere and service were top notch. Waitress was very friendly even though she was super busy. Salad bar had a great variety of salads; pasta, lettuce, fruit types and even pickled herring. My liver and onions were perfect with a large portion. The hubby's cheese burger was delicious and he liked the spiced fries that came with. Sadly the peach pie had good flavor but the crust was not fully cooked; soggy? The lemon meringue had great flavor, but the crust wasn't quite right. I would have eaten all of it if I wasn't stuffed from the liver.
Great food and service! Fun atmosphere and the waitress was really attentive. Nice train station decor! Just what I wanted. Cash only but they do have a ATM in site.
Cute little place ! Waitress’s are very friendly. The food was VERY good ! I liked both potatoes , hash browns are buttery and flavorful, pancakes are great ,gravy was nice and creamy . I definitely recommend trying this cute little place out . I believe it’s family owned . CASH ONLY - but they have an ATM .
Amazing food, people and staff. We are not from around here yet it felt like home with good home cooking for a great price. Will definitely be stopping again. Thank you????????
This is a great truck-stop, 'mom n pop' place to eat.
If you want good, wholesome food then this is your place to be.
Menu is pretty wide and varied and should suit most tastes and appetites.
Recently went there for the first time since COVID and it did not disappoint.
My first time having country fried steak on the Trucker's Breakfast.
So very good.
Cheese curds were also excellent.
The staff are super friendly.
Note: bring cash. They don't accept cards but they DO have an ATM out front.

Food was very good. The tables are a little crowded but overall nice. Service was good . Owner was waiting on lots of people and she did a really good job keeping up
