A sweet little tea room which is well worth seeking out. A bustling happy atmosphere pervades and the walls are adorned with trinkets of the story of the shop.
The staff were all ten out ten.
The food was homemade deliciousness and reasonably priced. Coffee was well above average as well, my Cortado was spot on.
Fantastic food, great service. We ate breakfast here on 2 occasions. Food was superb and a high attention to detail.
I love going to this little cafe every time I visit York. Always wonderful service, a good range of delicious quality food and good value. I had a scone with clotted cream and jam which was delicious, the scones are freshly made on site every morning :)
What a cracking find! Popped in because the cakes in the window looked amazing but the lunch menu was also very good. So very friendly and attentive! Free water upon arrival and well priced. The parsnip soup and mexican panini were tasty, and the special coffees were great. The surprise little pumpkin marshmallow made my day ???? Cakes were as tasty as they looked - 110% would go back and may do to get cake tomorrow.
Nice little cozy cafe in york. Visited york for a day for the christmas market and had brunch here, absolutely lovely food and drinks with a very nice atmosphere. Staff were very nice, friendly and welcoming as well!

It's possibly one of the most delightful breakfasts I have had in any café thus far!
Fresh and locally sourced produce, cooked, and served flawlessly. The all-day breakfast was absolutely exceptional!
The cappuccino I had was also pleasantly warm and flavorful.
I would certainly recommend this establishment to visitors of York. As a tourist myself, I was thoroughly impressed. It undoubtedly deserves its #1 ranking for breakfasts.
Came in here today 27th April with my twin, son and nephew and we had a great time. Food was amazing and fast service to! Cake was lovely! We will come back again, thank you for making us feel so welcome and lovely staff.
