That airhead taxi driver was driving a Toyota white van with big number 295 on the back of it. Took us from Bellagio to MGM. First, no name, not even a valid stickers and he hide the meter. When we asked him how do we know the amount we should pay you he replied how about $600.00 joking! He then said the most $13.00 I asked him where’s your meter he showed me that he put it down to his feet direction hiding it. I paid him $12.00 exactly after he said the amount of $12.00 not even a penny tips he start laughing at me then, I start yelling at him telling is how you drive like crazy? Honking behind every car. I said I am taking a picture of his license plate and he freaked out and asked me to close the door, I said after I take a picture. He ran leaving the door open and the bell guys at MGM told us they’ve seeing him before and asked me to call his company: Western Cab, and report him. I did and KARA said she’ll take care of the incident. He was driving and speeding thru the bumps around Paris Hotel. And the road behind that. No headlights no nothing and all you hear is the sounds of the broken struts and choke absorvers. He is such an airhead and we were lucky to make it safely there.
We had prepaid for a taxi round trip from LAS airport to hotel before we left home. When we went outside the hotel in the early morning hours, a taxi was waiting and waived to us. I asked if he was the same person who brought us from the airport and he said yes. When we arrived at the airport, he said the fee was $29.09. I said we already prepaid. He said this is a taxi. We decided not to argue at the time. When we got into the airport, I noticed that our driver texted me and that he was still waiting for us at the hotel. This driver was pleasant but, be careful, guess he needed the business. So we paid twice for the same ride.
I wanted to leave zero stars.
Took a Western taxi from the airport to the Elara which is a posted $25 fare. Driver charged us $38 and said this weekend was $10 extra and showed us a handmade paper. Called the company and the dispatcher stumbled and agreed. Always use Lyft or Uber.
The cab drivers are thieves.
February 12 around 8:30 pm, I took a cab from harry reid airport to the Park mgm hotel and maybe a 10 minute ride.
2023 August, my cab was $28 to the linq hotel.
Western cab driver charged me $38 !!
Do not ever use them or ask what the charge is first. My Lyft ride back to airport was $18
TAKE YOUR TIME TO READ and don’t use this company and support the business! Card machine wasn’t working. Driver followed me to ATM to get cash. ATM wasn’t working. Driver got phone number and kept calling and texting demanding I pay the entire 2.5 days I was in Vegas. Everytime I tried to pay him he would say he’s 45 mins away and kept trying to meet at different locations where I was at trying to enjoy my vacation. He took away from our 3 days of vacation time we were there trying to be hunt down to pay a fee when their machines are broken isn’t my responsibility. But being a good person I was willing to meet to pay and he kept changing the times to meet taking away from our time. Then we finally met and missed the Bellagio fountain show because his machine wasn’t working again! Was told $18 flat fee. Was charged $26 and then I refused then he changed it $24 manually because the machine didn’t work. HE TIPPED HIMSELF $15 and charged the company $3. THIS IS FRAUD. I never authorized to tip this driver $15. I attached a photo for proof. And I was so fed up I ended up paying it just so I could leave and go back to my vacation. I called the company manager and he was extremely unprofessional and rude saying that I “heard” wrong on the price and was like “what do you want $1 back” laughing like it was a joke. They don’t take paying customers serious and waste your time. This company needs to be reported to Better Business. Their taxi drivers are shady too stealing the companies money and yet the company defends them too. What a joke. Fed up mostly at the taxi driver taking away from TIME I can never get back irritating my group trying to meet up on OUR time and vacation.
Left my wallet in cab because driver was rushing me, he had to use bathroom, etc. I lost my ID and cards and $65 cash. I called the yard and got a negative response. I would like the company to straighten up that matter right away
Used a cab to get from airport to Hotel. Was told a $20 dollar ride. After getting us stuck in Downtown traffic and costing me $60. The next day I found out that he could have taken the express way to my Hotel on 3rd Street. Uber and left is the way to go when in Vegas. Cheaper and Faster.
Machine answered call. No cab showed after 30 min waiting.
