Great value & experience! Kevin in the shop was a rockstar and the rest of the staff was welcoming.
The course was a bit rough around the edges but the greens were pure. You can tell it was a premiere course during its prime. We will definitely play again!
Wentworth Golf Club is going through a rebirth as we speak. New ownership is committed to improving the golf club.
New golf carts arriving by the end of May, new equipment to take care of the course has arrived, so you will see improvement in the greens, tee boxes and fairways in the months to come.
I enjoy playing Wentworth, as it is a challenging course with the tight fairways and copious number of bunkers. It is only going to get better from here on out.
It is a great value in the Tampa area, and the food is very good as well.
I really liked the layout. I can tell that this was once a great course. It seems tired now. Fairways are thin with little grass to be found. Greens were OK and staff was wonderful.
The carts are death traps! Ours had no brakes which we didn't find out until we rear ended the other cart in our group.
The starter was very friendly and the beverage cart girl was a lot of fun to chat with.
I would definitely play again, but I hope they get the course in better shape and upgrade the carts before someone gets hurt.
Carts are old, worn out, needing repairs. Golf grounds need cleaning up. Bathrooms were disgusting. The personnel were pleasant, though.
Friendly staff. Great course layout. You better have all your golf skills for Wentworth. Course in good shape . Tee boxes , fairways great shape. Greens need a little TLC. Pace of play was excellent. I'll be back...
Staff friendly, Most greens cut nice and run very fast downhill. Layout is excellent and challenging as many sand traps. Course trying to make a good comeback with new owners. I would recommend playing and book using their website as we got a $50 deal on a Sunday am.
The pictures you see before are not what it is now. Was told by many about the condition of this course. I was invited here so I played and was pleasantly surprised on how nice it is compared to what I was told. Played here again a few weeks later, good value. Will be back!
Great service but man has this course gone downhill, it sucks cause I actually enjoy the course and the folks at the golf course are great people. Fairways need A LOT of work. The greens are actually decent and tee boxes not bad. Beer taste good tho after your round ????????
