If I could tip at a fast food restaurant I would have! I don’t normally do fast food but I was in a rush today and I went through Wendy’s because it was on my way. Expecting the regular fast food of experience of waiting in line placing an order only to get cold food. Instead I was met with a fast and expedient experience with every item I ordered in peak quality despite there being a line. The worker at the window and on the mic (I believe his name is Zach?) was clearly experienced, handling the rush like it was nothing and moving everyone through quickly all while giving great customer service.
Not much to say. It is Wendy's. The staff are nice. The food is what you expect. I make the Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich my go-to for the franchise, and short of North Carolina, this particular one is done exceptionally well. It is a drive in heavy location, so expect it to be backed up during the lunch 1-3 hours especially.
After the April 2024 eclipse, we stopped for a quick bite… the place was very busy. My son got a 10 piece chicken nugget and I hit a burger and fries. Within 5 minutes of him eating his nuggets , he had explosive diarrhea… my fries were “wet” with grease.
I will NEVER……EVER….return to this place .

A positive drive thru experience, speedy, food was appropriate temperature and less expensive than other chains.
Don't use the app since it apparently has nothing to do with this local restaurant. It allowed us to order breakfast foods for inside pick up even tho the restaurant doesn't open till 9AM. Had to walk thru drive thru to pick up our order. So stupid.
Slowest "fast-food" in Rutland besides KFC. Staff was disconnected. I stood and waited while a few employees all hung out in the back. When finally greeted, I was told someone would be with me soon. I stood and waited more. Eventually someone came to the counter and looked unhappy at their job. They took my order and then disappeared. When they finally returned my food was in a bag and kinda tossed on the counter. I asked about my cup and got the rolled eyes. By the time I left I had decided this is the worst customer service I've had in a quick serve restaurant and I won't be returning. The burger was ok. It was as expected but nothing to rave about. The fries weren't fresh and seemed rubbery and cold.
Don't waste your time going here. There are other options.
Clean, good service.. they were out of baked potatoes but the cashier offered us baconator fries which were great.
With so many options on Route 7 service speed means a lot for fast food and Wendy's failed that test. I preordered on the app a $5 order and it took 10 minutes in the drive thru to get. This was Friday at 4 PM. On the plus side, the building has been recently updated, the staff was friendly, and the food quality was good.
