Listen to these bad reviews. I do a lot of driving for work and as a result eat a fair bit of fast food all over the area. This Wendy's is the closest to my house and is by FAR the worst Wendy's, if not fast food experience in the area.
Food is constantly poorly prepared and I have seen both undercooked and overcooked food. Missing items, incorrect items, etc. Stock also seems to be an issue here, I worked in a kitchen and in a retail environment. I get there are a lot of factors that can affect stock, but it's such a common issue at this location I can't help but assume it's an issue of ordering and inventory management.
Service has always been a mixed bag at this location. Generally the staff has been fairly friendly, but as others have said slow responses and a dazed appearance aren't uncommon. Awkward conversations. I almost had to tell one employee "Sir this is a Wendy's" when he was trying to have a conversation about about war in the middle east while I was at the drive through window. I appreciate the attempt at conversation, but that's not really the time or place when you are literally just going to pass my food through the window. While most employees are friendly or at least try to be, some do seem grumpy or angry about being there.
I don't know if this is a management issue or an owner issue. But the problems here extend beyond a few bad employees.
Do yourself a favor, if you really want Wendy's. Go to the one off of Brown Rd. or Sashabaw Rd. in this area.
The last times I've been here something is always wrong. I don't know if the employees are baked beyond oblivion or just clueless but to find my kids nuggets were undercooked with bits of raw meat sticking out, or to look in the bag to find I got spicy nuggets instead of regular (My kids are autistic and now won't eat these nuggets anymore), or to drive up and be told they're OUT OF FRIES is ridiculous. I used to come here strictly for my picky eaters but I've got no idea what's happened here. Just... going downhill. I'll go elsewhere. Fast food is becoming a joke now.
Been there two times now the first time they had no cheese for the burgers out of stock I thought that can happen no big deal . The second time I stood at the counter for 10 mins before any even said anything to me and was told sorry short staffed today I'll be with you in a few after I get the door dashers food and drive thru people . Then another person showed up still didn't not even try to take my order and not even sure they worked there no uniform on but playing with the fryer. I left and will never return very bad experience
I like Wendy's single with cheese burger. I think they have the best, freshest beef for a fast food restaurant. Update: I just went through the drive-thru for a quick bite. My burger and fries were hot, fresh, and delicious.
Ordered 2 breakfast meals and both were cold and tasted old the sandwiches were thrown together and the wedges were stale. The orange juices were warm. For 8:30am I expect better. The workers were rude and acted like it was an inconvenience to be working.
They forgot half of my order, not a big deal it happens, but when they gave it to me and we got home the burger was still frozen in the middle, the buns felt like they came out of the fridge, and OMG the amount of freakin mayo...we literally live right around the corner this wasn't the weather ????. Some of the grossest food I've ever eaten at a fast food place. Drive to Auburn Hills if you're craving Wendy's this place is SO bad.
I just feel these employees are ill-equipped to provide a great fast food restaurant experience. Be prepared to wait 10min when there's only 1 person in front of you, some ingredients may be out of stock too. I've held back on this review to give it 3 additional chances over a 2 year span and nothing has changed.
Got some drive through on the way to an event.
Nuggets, fries, and the new chicken mozzarella marinara sandwich God. It's served on a garlic bun thing. Has a breaded chicken patty, a BREADED mozzarella ball, with ANOTHER peice of cheese on top. Then they smother it in marinara sauce.
Wendy's, you have no right.
That sandwich was amazing. That and a strawberry frosty could sustain a man for a day. Bravo.
