Just bought a haddock fish and chips for £12.60 from this shop and they gave me nothing but some fish skin and socking chips instead. Never ever go to this shop if, you want to have good fish and chips. They are not happy when they see people from other countries. The fish itself has no flesh in it and got it as 2 parts when I opened the package. They gave me too much chips as they are all socking in smelly oil and they wanted to get rid of. They just wrapped this so called fish and chips without showing it infront of me and not even giving me a paper bag to carry it. I'm really annoyed as I couldn't give them zero star.
Had a beautiful portion of chips here. Big portion, not greasy at all and the staff in there were really friendly. Good thick curry sauce too. Will be back.
P.s. nice to see the place has a 5 Star food hygiene rating too recently, which means I can trust them as I'm really fussy on hygiene.
The fish and chips we had were very nice. The lady who served my husband was very friendly. Good overall.
We are new to the Village and love our local Chippy already! 3 times I have been here and 3 times it has been great!! The food is well cooked, the service is friendly and fast and it is SO CLEAN!

The most rude staff especially the shorter pierced lady. Asked for a cod and it was like i had just shot her mum. So rude. The food was woeful. I'll eat my soggy work boot next time.
Chips were ok, bit undercooked, had to wait for 10 minutes while they 'cooked' the chips. Also found a couple hairs in the food as well.
Would avoid if possible.
Fish and chips undercook even waited over 10mins .. .and chicken burger?? Plain? No even asked me for any sauce or salad..i thought it should be there without asking. 5£ for that .avoid!
The experience from this chip shop keeps getting worse, paid £12.60 for a haddock, chips, and curry sauce. Look at the state of the fish and oily chips, at least they understood the problem and gave a me a refund.
Won't ever go back to this shop again.
