Ordered beef in black bean sauce and special fried rice today look nice when opening it up and putting it on the plate. Did enjoy it until I found a long strand of black hair in my food absolutely disgusting ???? will never go there again. There hygiene is not a 5 star. The staff are not the best at customer service either as they only accept cash and can’t pay by card which forced me to go to the cash point what a joke.
I don't like writing bad reviews but I dislike poor customer service and poor quality food more. I ordered crispy duck and when it arrived it was was neither crispy or the right duck meat, they gave me a sliced duck breast! It was fatty and spongy with zero meat, just awful! I am no chef but I know the difference between crispy cooked duck and a microwaved duck breast ! Not what I ordered and to try and make it look authentic they chucked in a random bone ! It all went straight into the bin!
To make things worse I tried to contact them twice to explain their mistake and failed to receive a response both times so I am writing this review,
I ordered from Welcome Express because they are local to me but I won't be doing this again, we should not have to put up with bad customer service and poor quality food. They are.only getting one star because I can't select zero! Such a disappointment!
Szechuan chicken had mostly just onion and tasted like sweet and sauer with chili overpowering everything, beef in black bean sauce which is always my favourite was the worst I ever had, just tasteless... Big No!
Great tasty food, nice service, quick delivery, fair size portions, and reasonable price.
Our monthly payday treat. Usual high standard, delivered hot and that includes the chips. Good portion sizes and very tasty. And arrived on time as usual. Highly recommend using Welcome Express. Big ????up. ????
Prices have gone up and Portion sizes have halfed, I recieved 10 prawn crackers in a bag, when they are usually full, chicken chow maine very very greasy with 5 little pieces of chicken, chicken curry was OK can't fault that, spring rolls full of grease, and chicken balls mainly doe.
It's up to you if you use this take away, but I would recommend going else where, and get value and quality for your money.
The bean sprouts were nice and fresh. The chicken was stale and tough and the BBQ sauce was just a red When rang up to complain they said it was freshly cooked. As it only took 4 minutes I don't think so. Would have expected an apology at least. Won't be using them again
Order food from here when ordered was told 39 to 40 mins once order was placed the delivery time was over 1 hour so cancelled order straight aways was still charged for the food and I'm being told that as the order was started I had to pay for food that was not delivered I'm sure this is not allowed there is no small print staying this
