I really don't like that I'm writing this review, bc I'm usually a huge fan of this place. I visit here at least 2-3 nights a week on my way home from work. We especially love their chicken sandwiches. . But tonight, we were very disappointed! The chicken wasn't cooked and as you can see from the pictures, it doesn't even look right. It was inedible.
At least, our milkshakes were Amazing!
So I decided to stop by tonight for a coffee, but ended up ordering a Jr.meatball hoagie and a soup, while the hot food was prompt, Dasha’s customer service was phenomenal, my salted caramel was quite the opposite, it took a few minutes, which was fine. But when the person who made this cup of coffee hand this to me, I was shock! The cup was such a mess I had to ask for another empty cup! Now don’t get me wrong, the coffee itself tasted amazing, it was the presentation that let it down.
Don’t buy the avocado bacon toast. The layer of avocado spread is so thin that you can’t even taste it. Not worth buying. Do better wawa
Holy hell, the reviews are terrible. I feel sorry for the negative experiences that most of you have had. Staff members were mediocre at best, like on a scale from 1-10 I’ll give it a 4 or 5. They weren’t very attentive towards customers but they weren’t awful either. There was one cashier who was ABSOLUTELY calm and amazing. She was very, very sweet. I wish I could remember her name because she was such a joy. The floors were a bit messy as well as the outside seating area. Ordered food from here and everything was tasting pretty well! I’m obsessed with their Orange and the multitude of “Siptopia” drinks they offer. It could be because it’s my first time here but I enjoyed it.
There is a girl named Dasha she really knows how to make a non messy sandwich and she honestly cares how its put together and even splits the sandwiches in half and makes sure theyre not all over the place when un wrapped and always super friendly and smiling i think this is one of the jicest wawas around and everytime we are in here when shes here seems like food comes out faster tooo thank you Dasha
My favorite Wawa location and all of jacksonville. Incredibly convenient. The inside and outside are always impeccable. The employees are friendly and helpful and always in a cheerful mood.
And I'd love that you can enter and exit from either Bowden road, Phillips Highway or University Boulevard West.
Don't order food here, it tastes nasty ????! I ordered breaded chicken blt salad with ranch. They gave me a tiny cup of dressing for that big bowl of salad so I had to ask for more and the employee argued with me for a few minutes before finally giving a 2nd cup of dressing with 1 tiny squirt of dressing, I asked her to put more in the cup which caused her to frustratingly sigh out loud (seriously what part of "salad" do ya don't understand?!). I called her stingy as I left, paybacking for her attitude towards me. The breaded chicken taste burnt and nasty ????, never getting that again in any form. The Ken's dressing packets you can purchase is awful which is why I was requesting more dressing from the deli area.
I felt unsafe due to a man watching me and approaching me while I was pumping gas. Once I was in my car, he parked behind me and knocked on my back glass while walking to my door. I took off before he could knock on my window. It was 4:00pm on a Wednesday with a lot of people around. Just be aware when you visit this location.
