I've been buying bread from the bakery pretty much every single day, but now I've stopped because I've been given two-day-old bread already sliced in the bag. I could feel that the bread is not fresh, but of course, the owner didn't let me know about that and charged me a normal price. My neighbors are experiencing the same issue. You won't see my family buying there anymore
Absolutely fantastic local bakery. Makes the best sausage rolls I've ever had, there's a few varieties too, my favourite is the mustard & cheddar variety, they're amazing.
They also do an awesome array of cakes, the carrot cake is exceptional but everything I've tried is excellent.
So reasonably priced too, sausage roll, crisps & cake comes in at around £5.00 which is really good value.
Highly recommend Watton Bakery! The Team are all so lovely and their homemade produce is lush!

Tasty, fresh and a large variety of bread and pastry products. I absolutely loved the white bread and the scotch egg, also, the staff is very friendly. I will definitely return whenever I will have the chance!

Great price if you are use to the city. I mean the same price you pay in a chain coffee shop like starxx or cafe xx you will only get a muffin where here you can get multiple treats. The pastries are decent size, very puffed, I had the Cornish pasty and the pastry was flakey, light and well seasoned, filling was generous too. Definitely the best I ever had. More importantly it was piping hot! Unfortunately no photo as it was too delicious that forgot to take one...The quality is unbeatable . If you are tourist or visitors definitely worth stopping by and grab some goodie or sweet treats. If you are local it is best to go earlier(I’m sure the locals knows..) so things are not sold out especially the sausage rolls seems popular. The rocky road and muffins we had were amazing too. Not too sweet but just right for my liking.
I go into this bakery quite regularly as its my favourite! The cakes and bakes are delicious and I highly recommend the red onion chutney sausage rolls and cornish pasties! Staff are lovely
