I recently purchased a box of sweets from walnut bakery and unfortunately, it was a horrible experience. The sweets were incredibly stale, almost inedible. Upon contacting the store to address the issue, I was met with disrespect and disbelief. Instead of acknowledging the problem, the staff member I spoke to repeatedly accused me of lying, insisting that he had consumed one that very morning and found it perfectly fine.
This lack of accountability and customer service was deeply disappointing. I certainly will not be recommending walnut bakery to anyone based on this experience.
This is my birthday cake after the result of the neglecting staff to provide a standard thoughtful service as a baker's.
I asked for the correct size of the box matching their cake, she said "no we dont have any more small size boxes", gave me a long rectangle double the length senselessly. What's more incredible is, there is no bag that fit the box to carry, so she gave the small plastic bag, in which you have to carry it upstraight. And I asked already how can the cake survive if you prepared like that, I had to carry for 3 hours home journey, she angrily said, "that's all we have, no other options."
Honestly, came here for special birthday treat but the service can just make people worst feeling. Saw many reviews sharing the same about the salesperson so I am not the only one.
I ordered a red velvet cake. I really liked The decoration of my cake. It was just like the picture. But… it was slightly burnt. And that’s okay it can happen but I wish those burns were shaven off or trimmed. The taste was kind of hard because of this. And the layers of the jam wasn’t spread evenly it was mainly in the middle section. I think that’s what made the cake so dry and slightly hard. And I think it wasn’t worth the price. I wish I checked the reviews before ordering. Thanks overall though.
They do not understand English ordered 500g of baklava and they gave me 800g of biscuits didn't open the box until I got home in Scotland
Absolutely dreadful experience. The staff were rude and lacked basic manners. The cream biscuits (Napoleon/Mille-feuille) I purchased were stale and inedible. It's disappointing to see such poor quality products being sold. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Been here on 2 occasions, failed both times to give a chance again and again, first time I was happy to bring 10 different types of small cakes to my family, all Persians and they all complained that the cakes I bought were really not Persian, dried and hard. The second attempt was not nice with the saleslady, went over the reviews and saw many expressed the same, she's very bored of her work, not trying to be helpful, everything is no, we dont have big bag, we dont have small box..., for a size of a tiny birthday cake, she gave the 3 times bigger sizes and didnt have even a bag to fit carrying, last time and forever
Unprofessional customer service
Although sweets are nice, the lady serves very untidy that even she touch without gloves sweets and I asked that is as a gift and this is the way she served us!
I ordered a birthday cake from this shop, I said it would be one and a half kilos, but unfortunately two and a half kilos were made, and then he took a whole lot of money from me for decoration. He very easily lies and says that it is new and sells it to the customer. They generally cheat a lot in their work and that person also takes the customer's order. It is his wife.her name is donya.And in the end, let me say that all of his families leave positive comments. No one is satisfied with anything except the bread of this shop. Don't be fooled.
