Stopped in for a slice. I was hoping for a thinner pizza but what they had was thicker. I ordered pepperoni and it was good but not great. The pepperoni was tasty, it could have used more sauce and it was very thick and bready. Overall still decent. It was hot and ready at a reasonable price. I was hungry and it hit the spot. When I am back I would tried a thin pizza and order ahead of time.
Always a great thing crust True Chicago Style pizza. It’s neighborhood style so we are used to eating all types of pizza from different blocks but this one is so convenient and good for the deals.
My daughter and I drove from Indiana to see my oldest daughter perform at the Arts center. I love pizza and never had a Chicago Style pizza before. My daughter and I were blown away at how good this pizza was. The sauce was so amazing, the crust was perfect and of course the cheese..so much cheese. Thank you so much for making this Hoosier’s so happy. ❤️
I’ve tried a lot of pizza in the city and suburbs and I have to say this is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted. First, I love the fact that they cook and slice the pizza to your specifications. Second, it was fresh and delivered hot as were the French fries. Third the salad was crispy, fresh and delicious. The gentleman that delivered the order was also quite pleasant. Try them you won’t be disappointed
I ordered 2 Chicago style pizzas with pepperoni. This is the worst pizza that I have ever tasted. There was not enough sauce and the pepperoni tasted and looked uncooked. The cheese in between the doe would not melt no matter how long we reheated it. We tried to eat it but ended up just picking apart the pizza and tossing away the doe and cheese. We just gave the entire second pizza to a few stray animals behind our house. My pictures were taken while the pizza was cold but you can see that there is no sauce and the pepperoni looks uncooked. You might think the 3rd picture is a picture of a pepperoni but no. Unfortunately, that is a piece of the top of the pizza and the red that you see is the sauce. That should give an idea of the amount of sauce on their pizza. All in all their Chicago style pizza just isn’t for me.
This is our favorite pizza place. The staff at this location is very friendly and welcoming. Out of all the time we've ordered from here we've only experienced one issue and that was quickly rectified. I would love to see a store on the west side and of the city. If you haven't tried Waldo Cooney's, you should. The 111th and Western and the 106th street locations are amazing.
Called to make an order for the first time and guy on the phone tried to charge double for chicken dinner. Also pizza prices didn't match menu. Ask for prices before ordering! We decided it was bad business didn't place the order. We went with another pizza restaurant.
The food is great but far as the service horrible!!! This is my last time spending my money with them ! It’s only two people that gives great service but today I’m done! As of 4/15/24! And I’ve been living in this area for years ,NEXT time you tell a customer I’m sorry you having a bad day recognize the reason for it! SMART MOUTH ! Waiting 20 mins for a slice of pizza that said it would be ready over the phone on 15 mins I gave yall and extra five mins before I walked over and still wasn’t ready!
