We got the single pancake with the breakfast special which came with biscuits and gravy. The pancake is the size of a medium pizza, so make sure you're hungry. We got it with the blueberries and it kinda tasted like a s'more. The biscuits and gravy are simple but tasty. The hash browns needed seasoning and to be cooked a little longer. But everything was tasty.
All excellent home made items. I can't wait to do the all you can eat fish Friday's. Everything sooooo good! A great little mom and pop place.
Just moved to the area and wanted to check out the local diners. The diner I was headed to was closed down, and I happen to pass by the wagon wheel where I stopped for breakfast and it was amazing. Had the chicken fried steak with a biscuit and gravy. You can tell it was homemade gravy and not from a package. The hashbrowns actually had flavor. My friend had an omelette and it was wonderful as well. If you’re passing through stop on in stop.
This was a nice day trip for us as we visited a local favorite. We came early (before 6 p.m.) and were soon joined at the Wagon Wheel by a large contingent of residents who were known by name by the staff. They filled nearly every table. The food was good and the staff was wonderful. Everyone helped serve everybody. Our fries and rolls were cooked a tad long but were fine. We look forward to returning here again!
What a gem. Food was so good. I was raving about it the whole ride home. Huge portions with very reasonable prices. The service was great too. Definitely give it a try! You won't be disappointed.
Me and my husband LOVE Wagon Wheel! We haven't had a bad meal yet! It's our favorite place to go for breakfast. Good coffee, good flavorful food, and great service!
1/20/24. We purposefully came here from Springfield. This is our first time. I've gotta say, it was totally worth the trip. The place is homey, and nice. The service was OUTSTANDING! The food was just perfect. I could go on a lot longer, but I don't feel the need. If you're close, or not, go here. You'll be happy you did.
I finally decided to try this restaurant, and I can say is the service is excellent! The food was good. I enjoyed the omelet but didn't care for the hash browns. My husband's chicken Fried Steak was a little fatty but my son loved his omelet and also the fried mushrooms.
