First train on the inbound to Boston, so there’s plenty of seats to choose from. The station is pretty clean and there’s tons of parking. Sheltered area for those snowy or rainy days. Definitely one of the nicer stations.
A decent place to trainspot if you are looking to catch a lot. The station has lots of security cameras and sometimes has MBTA staff here which is nice. It can get sketchy at times, mostly in the mid to late afternoons but as long as you just mind your own business you should be fine. Mart Bus connections to Fitchburg and Gardner are here too which is very awesome and helpful to anyone who lives there and works out in Boston. Mobil Gas Station nearby is also pretty cool, especially since they got Dunkins and Nathan's on the inside!
Beautiful new station with plenty of parking. Because it's the last stop on the Fitchburg line, you're guaranteed a seat for the ride into Boston or Cambridge.
Best bet for getting into Boston from far away. Plus, there's a Dunkins & Nathan's in the gas station right around the corner.
So great to have a station closer to home. They have a shelter to wait which is great when it's cold or snowy. Just be sure to memorize your license plate number. Though they have a number for your parking space, that's not the number you need when paying for your parking.
It's always clean and quiet. The trains are on time 99% of the time. I wish the shuttle buses ran more frequently & on the weekends! Besides that, it's a good train station.
Very convenient. Train was already here when I arrived. Much faster access from RT 2 than the Fitchburg station. Five stars, would schlep again.
