Gave one star only because zero stars wasn't an option. On 9/13/2023, I ordered a Neopolitan with extra cheese on half and pepperoni on half, and an order of breadsticks. Pizza was terrible. The crust was paper thin and over cooked. The breadsticks were more like pitas, puffed, hollow shells. I have been a customer of Vocellis on Rt 286 for 30 years. Never.going back. Terrible... stuff... can't really call it a pizza.
Re: Vocellis has promptly refunded us after discovering the situation. That does count and is appreciated.
Customer service at this restaurant is terrible! I do not review often but this one is deserved in my opinion.
We ordered online for pickup as we do not have a vocellis within delivery range since a few months ago. We picked up our order and proceeded home, assuming our order was correct.
Once realizing our (13 dollar!) salad was missing, we called to have it delivered.
The manager told us because they are out of our delivery range and we would have to pick it up, since it is "not worth it" for thier drivers.
That being bad enough, we asked for them to refund the 13 dollars for the missing salad and we were told they could only offer a store credit, which didn't even come with a code or anyway to redeem other than telling them we had a credit when we next ordered.
Obviously this is unacceptable and Vocellis should be ashamed for this kind of robbery. It is not hard to give a refund for an item that was not received.
Stay away from this restaurant!
Had a horrible experience today. I ordered two medium pizzas for delivery. Thirty minutes later I received an email that my order was out for delivery. I live at most 10 minutes from this location. ONE HOUR LATER, STILL NO PIZZA. I tried calling the store for an update 4 times. Each time it rang until going to voicemail that was not set up. At this point I drove myself to the location to check on my order as I was not getting any response calling. I told the guy working my issue. He ignored me and went behind the counter. When I asked further about my order he said the driver left 20 minutes earlier. I asked for a refund and was rudely told "We don't give refunds" before the employee went back to trying to ignore me. I left with no resolution and a bad taste in my mouth. I recommend other people order food from other restaurants, this place is not worth the hassle.
All of the workers are very nice and never rude. Christopher took the time to greet me and get my order. Drey is always very friendly. The whole staff are very nice.
Food is always done when I get there and it’s always correct.
Not the first time I'm disappointed by the Golden Mile Hwy Vocelli Pizza. All the toppings, cheese and sauce are slid off the pizza and into the right back corner of the box. It was supposed to be a medium buffalo chicken pizza. Before I knew it's condition, I had set it on my slate and wood coffee table. It leaked all over my table. I'm furious. It's friggin pizza, not brain surgery!
Our family has been buying pizza and subs from Vocellis for many years and we are never disappointed. Chris is a great guy, as are all the employees.
Ordered a medium plain pizza from vocelli through DoorDash, son took first bite and threw it up.

No, it is like they dumped the hot spice onto the pizza, my mouth was on fire.
Absolutely disgusting, for the prices they charge, it was $17.00 just for a medium pizza before delivery..
DoorDash refunded me credit, but wow… that was horrible
They have gone severely downhill the last few months. It started with an online order I placed that costed me $34 I was charged for, but they claimed they never received the order. The manager told me he’d contact me back with a solution and never did. So I finally called back 2 weeks later and was told to email corporate, which I did to no avail. I then stopped ordering from them for about 3 months. I finally ordered again to receive an over cooked almost no cheese at all pizza. I figured at that point I wouldn’t waste my time with this establishment again, but tonight I ordered again. I placed an online order at 5:45pm and it is now 7:10pm. I called down and asked what was going on and the guy that answered the phone told me they had only one driver and that my order has been out for delivery for a while, but then immediately asked another guy in the restaurant what the status of my order was, only for the other guy to tell him it is almost ready to go out for delivery. After two conflicting answers, and no help I was told to expect my order soon. As of me writing this I still have not received my order. I really mean it when I say, avoid this place. It is not what it once was. Even dominos can do better than this
