Nice little place in Kenner. Their food is extremely good and portions are huge. You can easily split a dish with another person. My dad is from Nicaragua and he approves this place. Definitely worth the drive if you live closer to the city or somewhere else.
Head the steak with chimichurri. The food is phenomenal. Very limited English, so be prepared if you don't speak Spanish.
The food is fresh and flavorful. The service is warm.
All around neutral about my experience with this restaurant. Im happy to see that business is supported by the local Central American community, but the atmosphere isn’t very welcoming to outsiders. First experience with Nicaraguan food and I’m not sure if the food is mediocre or I’m terrible at ordering.
There aren't many Nicaraguan restaurants in the area. Fortunately, this one is off the chain. Abuelita style cuisine at its finest.

Fool in there is too expensive it's not worth it I am a chef cook that food is not worth it then me got a lot of fat poor quality meat chips w**** rice mushy not good
I ordered a gallo pinto with steak and sweet plantains.
The rice was hard and it tasted old. Not a very good experience. I explain the server what was going on with the rice to please give me something else and she refused. The service was no good and the food no good.????
Very friendly staff. The plates are really yummy and huge.
