I've visited Vinny's twice in the last few days. The first time I was really impressed with both the quality of the food and, perhaps even more so, it's presentation I don't think I've ever seen such well presented food in this kind of place
So today I noticed there was a different chef and a different waiter and wondered whether it would be the same. Perhaps it just been a one of but no, it was incredible again; beautiful food really well presented! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

People there great but when I got my shepherds pie it was a microwave meal they gave I eat didn’t say nothing last time I went there selling cheap food for more money go to Jenkins well worth the money in my opinion not buying cheap food
9.99 for a poor quality breakfast and cup of tea. There is surely better elsewhere.
Mushrooms were actually the best thing about it
Sausage was something you would feed a dog providing your dog isn't fussy. My dog would have bit me if I tried to feed him it probably though
Very good and delicious food and excellent prices people come here from an hour away just to come to the best cafe in Colchester food is cooked fresh on the spot don’t go no where else because I’ve been to every cafe in Colchester and vinnys beat them all in quality and prices
First time at vinnys cafe as I wanted to find a cafe that was reasonable priced as fed up with paying £7 for a sandwich in other cafes !! Best & cheapest egg sandwich I have bought in Colchester , fresh bread and my eggs were very well done as asked for ???? perfect lunch & drink just under £4.50 !! Will be returning again . Very happy customer
Friendly and attentive staff, delicious omlette with cheese, onion and mushroom...best in town I reckon...and lovely cappuccino. Love it here ????
If you want a five star restaurant, then you are in the wrong place. The food is good though, and the service is prompt. I have never been there when it has been overcrowded, so I can't comment on the atmosphere. The staff have always been polite and helpful. It is okay. I particularly like their cottage pie. Comes with a good portion of veg as well.
