The breakfast sandwich was fresh and really good. I’ll definitely be back to try other options.
I would have rated this a 5 but I was disappointed there was no way to try the loaves of bread they actually sell in the store. (Cranberry Orange, Cinnamon Raisin, etc.)
Similar to buying a bagel, I would have paid to buy a slice in one or both of these flavors (or as toast). They didn’t offer it and didn’t offer any samples to determine if they’d be a right fit for gifts either.
Missed opportunities.
This place's bread is delicious. I got a slice of pizza, and I liked their bread. Their pastries are also good.
I've been going here for at least 10 years and their sandwiches are as amazing today as they were on day 1. I highly recommend the chicken salad sandwich, or the BLT with avocado. Also the honey Rye bread is the best! And the special k bars . . . Pretty much everything.
Sandwiches are on really good bread that they bake there, and they pile on really tasty meat! I choose the half sandwich because it is substantial. Salads are delicious. My favorite is the strawberry salad that comes with poppy seed dressing. And if you like cookies and cakes, they sell a variety of tempting options. Or, you can just buy a loaf of bread and take it home!
I just went for my first time and it was SO good! I got the turkey provolone on honey rye and I will be dreaming about the honey rye until I have it again! It was amazing. I got the whole sandwich but I would’ve been fine with a half, it was huge! Good prices too, the whole sandwich was less than $10!
My daughter and I like to meet here for lunch. It's not too noisy, so you can have a nice conversation and catch up. Excellent soup and sandwiches.
My fiancé and I were running a few errands early morning and wanted to have a breakfast date real quick before work. We decided to go to Village Baker for our breakfast date! Definitely such a great choice! We always get their Turkey & Provolone sandwich and their broccoli and cheddar soup! The atmosphere was nice early morning cause there was no one but us in the place. :) their customer service was super great! We were looking for the peanut butter cookie on the shelf but it wasn’t there and the person that took our order grabbed it from the back since they hadn’t displayed it yet.
Atmosphere can be noisy at times, but that's just because everyone goes here. The food is delicious, and there's so many different options. Sandwiches, pizza, pasteries, etc. There are so many choices that it's hard to pick just one!
