I've been coming here for years and alternate between the chicken quesadilla, ground beef enchiladas or the wet burrito with chicken. On my latest visit, I went with the wet burrito... and it was amazing! Chicken has lots of flavor and the burrito is not overly packed with rice and beans to take from the protein of your choosing. Always satisfied when I choose to eat here.
I've been going to Villa's for quite some time. The best thing I like about this place is the consistency. It's never a hit or miss, you always know what you're going to get. The guys there are always helpful, and when you ask for something (i.e. more salsa and chips) they'll always be glad to get it. The service is friendly and prompt. The only thing I can say this place can work on is it's salsa flavor and stronger flavor in the rice. The rice is very bland and the beans seem to be more seasoned than the rice. Overall it's still a place I frequent because at the end of the day, I leave satisfied from the whole experience.
Great service. Food was served pretty fast. Rice was plain & could've added more refried beans. Tortilla chips aren't homemade but edible. Overall good food. Styrofoam plates & plastic cutlery was a surprise.
The food is always delicious. I’ve always been a satisfied customer. The portions are good. The Super Quesadilla is HUGE!!! The chips are good and the salsa has lots of delicious hot flavors! If you dine in, make sure you order a large drink as they don’t do free refills. One thing about Villa’s is they are always consistent with very savory food and good customer service.

12-17-22 I tried their ham Tortas! It was amazing!

There's few things I enjoy more in this world than an authentic burrito close to the border. This place definitely did not disappoint. Very fast service, kind employees, and absolutely delicious chicken. The salsa that came with the chips was very flavorful. I left full as my burrito was very sizeable. The Modelo I got definitely hit the spot, albeit a bit on the pricy side, but this is California, so beggars can't be choosers. My visit to Villa's was by far the highlight of my experience in Merced.
One of the best taquerias in Merced for a quick bite. Staff is really friendly. Daily specials with good portions. Place is not to big but it is really clean..
Well I know this places for so many year's. Very clean . service excellent.Food Delicious.
It was good, but not great. Decent if you're in a rush or close by. If you have the time to go wherever you want for some Mexican food, this wouldn't be my first pick. It's not bad at all, there are just better options out there.
