One of our favorite restaurants. Glad to see pizza is available again. Went in to place my double pizza order to go. Approx. twenty minutes or so later, I was walking out with two delicious pizzas.
Just found our new Friday night pizza spot. I can eat certain pizza from certain places. Being from New York I'm a for hard thin crust ny pie guy. This place hit the spot, and took me to Brooklyn first class.. Cheesesteak was really good too. Reminds me of fair cheesesteaks. Can't go wrong with this spot. Chef Gram approved
Friendly staff, with a dim lit setting. It feels like you are sitting outside at sunset in Italy. The food is very filling and the dessert is delicious. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant for an evening in Italy.
For my recommendations on what could be done better is the furniture could be updated. The seats felt like they were coming apart and the ceiling could be renovated to help enhance the immersive atmosphere, also the restaurant has not served pizza or wings since covid began. Besides that, this was an excellent night out!
Went with my family and had a great night! Great selection of Italian food. Not that big of a menu but what the menu lacks in quantity, it makes up for quality! Service we received was impressive. Waiter was friendly and personable. We went here because one of their former staff members suggested it to us and we were not disappointed. Okay, I'm a bit disappointed that they said they haven't been serving pizza since the plannedemic but that's minor. They had impressive Italian wine selection and server knows good recommendations. If you're going to get salad, try their in-house blue cheese dressing. Veal piccata was really tender and the Alfredo pasta was rich and creamy but not over-the-top.
Ps. We also enjoyed the murals inside the restaurant.
Service was great, food (pizza) was hot but that's about all. Got there 430 pm on a Friday, not busy. Ordered the all the way pizza and skipped anchovies and jalapenos. Lacked flavor as well as proper sizing of things like green pepper and onions. Way too big, i.e. too many whole, large, rings of each. Could have stood to be cooked longer as well. Pizza was soggy in the center, and barely brown on top. Given the lack of a pizza sauce only thing I can think of is that it just wasn't cooked long enough. Tomatoes had no flavor. Dough had no flavor. Didn't see or taste a pizza sauce. No Italian spices were evident. Our mistake for letting them put on green olives. Between that and uncooked green pepper/onion thats all I could taste. Slices not cut uniform and cut way too big on about a third of the pizza. Then its time to go and the waiter attempts to get the rest of the pizza in the box, see picture, .......from waiters hands to us, not too good. Overall, if I want pizza from now on, it's Pats in Americus, Pizza Hut, or DiGiorno from the grocery store. Sorry guys, I was really hoping it would have been good. Think they try hard but a few folks need help as to what a Pizza should taste and look like.
Someone told me they had really good pizza..... someone lied to me. The $5 frozen pizza at walmart is miles better than this, even Little Caesars is way better, this is just flavored flimsy cardboard. Garlic bread comes out as toast. Chicken Alfredo was actually really good. But we waited an hour and a half with the place about 70% full of people.
I had the opportunity to come here while on a work trip. Ambiance is a bit on the dark side but comfortable. Very good appetizers (we had the stuffed mushrooms, fried ravioli, and mozzarella sticks). For my entree, I order the Chicken Marsala; tasty and not salty. Dessert you ask? Cannoli, of course!
Always a treat. Waiters are awesome, food is incredible. Family owned Italian restaurant for years.
