So I haven’t been to Villa Europa in 15 years! We thought they were going to close down last year - come to find out they ended staying open - trying their hardest to continue to serve their community and those who come from out of the area. We started out with soup and snails - delicious French Onion Soup with Escargot & French bread and Bavarian Fritters! I had the French dip sandwich with fries (not pictured), my wife got the Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo and shared it with our son - he loved it! And finally my mom got the Chicken Scallopini Piccata. So good! If you’re thinking of trying this wonderful restaurant - go there and support them! If it’s been awhile - it’s even better than I remember. ???????? They’ll be glad to serve you with a smile and a delicious meal!
Great food and service! The potato soup and the corned beef and cabbage soup were amazing! They had some really cool looking and delicious bread as well.
The food was great. The Jagerschnitzel was very good. The Bavarian fritters are ok but too much sawerkraut for me. The fries were awesome. Excellent service.
This food was so good. My parents went here some odd years ago and I decided to try it for the first time because I had a taste for spaghetti. We ended up trying that the fettuccine Alfredo and it was soooo delicious. It tasted so authentic. Customer service was on point. I can’t believe it took me this long to try it. I will be back to try some of the other entrees
Me and my family have loved this restraunt my whole life and I just turned 40. Please please please do a remodel! Same decor and furniture from when I was a kid. The carpet is dingy there is a old odor just not a good atmosphere any more. As far as the food the pork schnitzel is pretty consistent. Still some of the best escargot I've ever had. The escargot gets 5 stars by itself. Although last time I went they didn't give it to me in the clay dishes they have always had so the butter wasn't quite the same. Definitely bring the clay dishes back . And please remodel
The pasta with meat sauce was good. The French Onion soup was okay the escargot wasn't great. The ramsschnitzel was okay. The pretzels were really good. The German salad was delicious. Service was great.
I really enjoyed our lunch today. The food is very hearty, beefy, and soul fulfilling. I read the reviews about the condition of the restaurant and found those reviews to be shallow, mean and bougie. It’s an old establishment for sure but that’s the charm. Like your 80 year old grandmothers kitchen…makes the food taste better y’know!
I just went to lunch at Villa Europa with some friends. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. The service was very, very good despite the fact that the restaurant was busy with at least two large groups and only one waitress. The prices were quite reasonable, especially considering how good the food was. If you're in Augusta, Georgia, you want to take the opportunity to eat here. You will not be disappointed
