I called Robbie on Tuesday about my wife's truck shifting sending it into limp mode. Robbie knew exactly what the problem was before I even brought him the truck but he said it would probably be free at the dealer even though he would lose out on the business. It turned out it wasn't warrantied through the dealer so I took it to Robbie on Tuesday and he had my truck back to me by lunch time on Thursday and it was exactly what he said it was. Robbie is an honest guy who has fair prices and will get my business from now on.
Can’t say enough good about this business. We had transmission leak on our MotorHome. They helped us to get a tow, stopped what they were doing and diagnosed the problem (leak in transmission cooler), ordered part when none was available in the area, let us stay in their parking lot until part arrived, put in the part, checked it all out and got us on the road ASAP. They are courteous, kind, honest and reasonably priced. Southern hospitality at its finest
Purchased a new transmission from them Tuesday afternoon. Dropped the car off to them Wednesday and by Thursday afternoon my car was ready to go with a brand new transmission installed. Very friendly upfront open and honest. I couldn't ask for better service.

I have used this shop on several different vehicles. They were very nice and easy to deal with fair price and they will stand behind there work. I highly recommend and I will use them for any transmission work in the future. They have went over and beyond to make sure there customers are satisfied.
I tried to go through Oriley for a rebuilt factory one. Their distibuter said they had one complete and on the way. A week later and they didn't even have one AFTER i done paid. I am loosing 300 to 500 dollars a day because i have no truck. So i called vidor transmission. I liked what they told me and so i got a refund from Oriley and brought my transmission to them. Very knowledgeable and didnt mind explaining what they was putting in the transmission. Fair price at that. Very respectable place. Nice guys. Would recommend VIDOR TRANSMISSION to EVERYONE.
Needed Clutch replace on 02 dodge cummins. They had truck for 11 days and tried to install a clutch twice. Gave me truck back and said it was fixed. Was not fixed. Clutch slave installed upside down, bushing for input shaft installed too deep. 4x4 and reverse lights installed backwords. Had to turn off truck to put in reverse. $4000 worth of tools and equipment that was cable locked and locked under camper shell were all stolen. Someone used the keys to unlock everything and took it. They told me they keep the cars inside at night so it would be safe. They refused to give my money back and I had to come up with another $1500 to have Dwayne Automotive install it correctly. They told me the rear main seal was leaking and that they do not replace them and that it is the problem with the transmission not shifting after they gave me the truck back. Dwayne automotive fixed it correctly and the rear main seal was not leaking. Will file a suit against these thieves to try and regain some of my lost $$. Do not take your car here.
