Best braids I have ever gotten! The color is amazing and I am so excited to show them off. I will definitely be coming back for all of my events. If you need braids for Burning Man Miss Linda and her assistants were the best!
Very talented and efficient stylist. They braid and do relaxers for a reasonable price. Recommend coming here. They are sweet as well!!
I had a horrible experience with them! Let me start from the very beginning… My appointment was at 10:00 am and when I arrived they were not ready for me. They didn’t start on my hair until about 10:40 am.
4 days after I had my braids my hair started coming out of the braids (see pics). I wrapped my hair every night, never got it wet! I reached out to them to see what they could do and at first they were trying to tell me I must have gotten it wet or something. They then told me they would redo my braids on Wednesday and to call Tuesday to schedule an appt. I called Tuesday and she said Wednesday wouldn’t work so it would have to be the weekend. I was going out of town that weekend so that didn’t work for me. She told me “idk what to tell you” I asked for a refund then since she didn’t know what to tell me and she caught an attitude real quick and basically said no. She then said let me talk to the lady that did my hair (Loren). I immediately txted her after we hung up telling her again that the weekend didn’t work for me because I would be out of town. She then txted me back saying Loren can do my hair that weekend (I told her twice on the phone the weekend didn’t work for me and txted her), she said if the weekend didn’t work then the next week would be 3 weeks so it would be time for a touch up anyways. When I left that shop I asked all the hair ladies in there how long would my hair last and they all said 6 weeks but now she is trying to tell me in 3 weeks my hair would need to be redone?!?!
I told her at this point to just refund me because they obviously didn’t have experience with my hair and I needed to find someone who has experience. She never responded to my txt about the refund, I then followed up with her the next day and no response. I tried calling, no answer and sent another txt and no answer. They are unprofessional and not very friendly and do not take care of their customers! I will never return to them! I have had knotless braids before and never had this experience. I paid $250 plus tip for my knotless braids to start unraveling within 4 days of being done. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THEM!!
Super fast and sweet. Took me in last minute because I thought I could do braids myself from a YouTube video. I was sitting on the floor of in the middle of a mass of hair half crying and called her and she got me in within the hour. Would 11/10 recommend Ms. Linda. They even helped me put on the little charms I got as well! ???????????????? such a life saver.
I have received nothing but the best, excellent services for my cornrows, and top of the line treatment for my hair. Linda has helped me achieve a lot of hair growth from her treating my hair. I was on vacation in Austin and discovered this wonderful hair braiding salon. My first time ever getting braids. The experience was great and Linda did a fabulous job with my straight back braids. I received many compliments from friends and colleagues when I arrived back home to Northern Virginia
They told me my hair was “too short” to get a style I wanted when I knew it was well within bounds of being done. They “convinced” me to get another style and the price jumped from 150 to 250. Ridiculous. My braider was working on another woman’s hair and then switched to mine without washing her hands. After a few minutes she began consuming a nature valley bar and continued my hair without washing her hands. Might I add that when she was working on my hair she was musty. I don’t like commenting on other women however the smell was so bad I felt myself getting nauseous.
