This trail was pretty nice, I used it to get up to the Appalachian Trail to go NOBO to clarks Valley road...roughly 6 mile trip. It took about 1.5 miles to climb up this trail, I took Whitetail Trail 0.8 miles vs the steeper Victoria Trail 0.5 miles up and I am glad I did. It's nice to be able to look around vs just at your feet while your hiking.
Parking area allows access to a nice trail. The trail is well blazed in blue and, after a fairly decent amount of climbing, meets the AT. Though it continues beyond the AT, I was time-limited (not to mention daylight limited) and did not do the rest of the trail.
A very well maintained trail that leads to the Appalachian Trail. It is somewhat steep so be prepared. It also crosses the White Tail Trail, which crosses the AT further to the East. Great hiking, would recommend!

Small parking area Trail is steep in areas beautiful Woods I would say a moderate hike
It's a nice rocky climb up and then loop down from here. Good exercise location.
