The staff is always amazing. They definitely need to update their menu prices online. Really enjoy the hot wings that are extra crispy and always have the right amount of sauce if you don't like them saucy say light I assume. White pizza is my favorite. Always great deals and timely services.
My usual go to for pizza is Lucky's. I love NY style pizza! I wanted to try something different, so after reading the reviews, I decided to give Venice Pizza a try. I definitely give them a solid 4.5 stars (-1/5 star only because i like my crust on the softer side where you have to fold it). Both pizza and wings (i ordered mild and bbq) were delicious. When I call to place my order the girl that answered was very nice as well as the delivery guy. I will definitely be ordering from them again.
I have gone by Venice Pizza for years, finally decided to stop in and try it. A friend always raved about its food and it always is on Channel 5s' Dirty Dinning Dean's List. It quite small and minimalistic to say the least. When I went, the tiny barebones eating area was filled with delivery boxed as if they had just been delivered. For me this wasn't a problem, I could see that the place was geared for take out. I tried the simple spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce was simple middle of the road meat sauce not to much garlic, or acidity. Definitely home made and not from a can. Meatballs were well made, heavy and hearty not crumbly. However the pasta was of "Midwewst al'Dente ", that is none at all. I watched as my order was being made, the pasta and meatballs were microwaved, no problem there, easy portion control in a baggie, then reheated, but being in a baggie i think that it overcooked while it reheated. Over all, except for the soft pasta the sauce and meatballs, carried the dish through. I intend to go back soon and try their pizza next.
Venice Pizza is the very best place in Glendale for takeout pizza and wings. I have been buying and eating their pizza since July 2000. Food is always great along with the service.
Italian beef and chicken salad . Nice people, order ahead and food was waiting. Sandwich was hot, bread toasted perfect, not to much bread soft inside melted cheese top of seasoned steak, peppers, onions with the saucy sauce. Fresh prepared worth the price alternative to fast food. Salad did what it do, no big deal. Their casear dressing is the real thing though.
Got a large cheese pizza 12 rings with the pizza having garlic crust no garlic or Parmesan on the crust. But the pizza was pretty bland ,wings were crispy but overcooked , and the service was quick. There was also a creepy guy standing behind the counter just watching people for some reason.
The food tasted amazing especially with the price I got. I bought the dozen wings and 12" veggie lovers pizza. The delivered to my place, and I got the order in about an hour. Definitely would recommend this place.
Great little pizza shop in a small area. I came here exactly 30minutes before they closed, they were more then happy to feed me which is great. The area isn’t the best but it doesn’t stop them from giving good food. I got a simple large (14in) pizza for 12$. It was good, I wish they had Alfredo sauce and garlic bread spices with butter. Unfortunately the pizza was a little burnt the crust was golden brown but the bottom was blackish/brown and made the pizza taste funny. But overall the food was great and I hope to give them another shot in the future.
