Stylist reviews are grossly underused. I read them all.
I live 500+ miles away from Myrtle Beach. For years, I changed stylists and paid a lot for cuts & colors but my hair never grew out with the same result. What're these they missing that keeps coming come back to Gregory at Vega?
Gregory combines his technical knowledge of hair type, volume, and color with an artistic dimension. It was much easier to notice because no two of his customers are alike.
When most hair salons service clients who are basically the same age range, gender and hair type, it's very easy for a stylist to fall back into a technique.
Greg was my hair stylist from today and he did an absolutely amazing job! I am from North Carolina and wanted balayage done on my hair and I found out about Greg, and I'm so happy I did. I have naturally really dark hair and Greg was able to make these colors bright and vibrant. I was truly 100% satisfied with the results. Plus him and the staff were so friendly. I highly recommend this salon!!

Once upon a time over a year ago, I messaged Shanna an online inquiry. She promptly responded, and I was booked. She did a wonderful job, which made me decide she's my forever hairstylist! Greg was awesome! I just moved to the area and had my hair done by someone else and I hated it. I showed up at Vega Hair and not only did he fix it but he took me in, IN THE SAME DAY. He told me to come back in a hour! My hair wasn’t awful but I still hated it and it was just not what I wanted. It was a hair crisis to me and Greg saved the day! He did not treat me as an inconvenience even though I know I messed up his already busy schedule. Instead, he was kind, attentive to my needs and very knowledgeable. He was happy to help me. I will definitely be back! Thank you Greg!!
I just wanted to take a minute shout out my man Greg! He did a phenomenal job on my hair! I have just recently started coming to him and when I did my hair was a decent length but was broken and pretty damaged. My first appointment I wanted it cut to help get the damaged ends off then I went a couple days and wanted more and he had me back and did just that with no charge! Greg is just awesome!! Now a few weeks later I wanted more cut and some highlights and lowlights and also asked about a Brazilian blowout but he has figured out how I like my hair in just a short time we discussed it and he knew I wouldn’t be happy with it because I like volume and texture in my hair!! Made me feel even better about him and this salon knowing he wasn’t just trying to make a sale off of me and told me the honest truth. I highly recommend him and this salon!! ????
This was my second time at the Vega Hair Design and I wasn't disappointed! The stylists are friendly, the place is cozy, and they make my hair look and feel great! I have really curly hair and Greg does a great job of straightening it with the Japanese Hair Straightening chemical treatment. I've been to several different salons to straighten my hair and have learned that this treatment can really damage your hair if not performed properly, so I was so glad to find Greg after reading all his positive reviews. I can honestly say that his salon services live up to the hype and I will definitely be back again!
Greg does amazing work. First time going to Vega and getting a cut from Greg, I was impressed with the feel and attention to detail. I have been going and using Greg since. Wouldn't have anyone else cut my hair. Whether I describe it or show him a picture he will make cater the style to my hair. Thanks Greg. I need to get in there this weekend.
I have been coming to Vega for about a year now! Great place, with a friendly staff who show their clients incredible hospitality before, during, and after seeing your stylist!! They offer you coffee, bottled water, wine, beer, and soft drinks while you are here. Greg Blythe is my personal stylist. I am more than happy with my experience with him. I never leave here with even one hair out of place. No matter what hairstyle I choose he makes me look good. I have received numerous compliments from men and women on how good my hair, beard, eyebrows look so well kept!! I have referred several people to Greg and about 10 guys from my gym, One Punch Fitness, get their hair done by him. 4 or 5 women as well.
