Great place! Everything is delicious! Can't even recommend one thing as all the food is very fresh and tasty, huge thanks to the chef! Very friendly staff. Thank you so much for such a great place. Yes, you have a very nice open air first floor! In general, I think the delicious food and friendly staff makes you want to come back here! Highly recommended! ❤️
We randomly stepped into this nice and cosy cafe on a rainy day to check out the menu and found they serve halal meat. Then decided to sit and have brunch.
The waitress was very welcoming and nice lady, gave us a nice table suitable to put the baby buggy next to us with a heater to keep us warm.
The menu was containing good options, and the food was very fresh and tasty. We ordered a traditional english breakfast and scrambled smoke salmon which eggs substituted to poached eggs on both.
To our surprise the smoked salmon came with 3 eggs which was highly appreciated. We also asked for butter and jam and the lady brought it to us. We then realised they don’t charge butter and jam.
The only downside was the bread which I realise they serve white bread and would have been appreciated if they offer wholemeal instead.
We ordered a decaf Americano which tasted like the caffeinated one and had a very good size.
We then came back two days after to try the lunch menu as that time we realised the grilled salmon ordered by our next table was very tempting and we wanted to try that too.
The salmon comes with potatoes but we asked to change it to mushroom for one of us and more broccoli for the other. They kindly accepted that and I cant say how delicious it was????. The portion was perfect, those vine tomatoes were perfectly done. The salmon grilled to perfection. Completely cooked and still juicy.
The king prawns in a butter sauce for starter was good too. Needed a bit more salt and it was a bit cold, but tasted nice. Again the problem was white sourdough instead of wholemeal.
I highly recommend this place and it has the potential for us being regular with them. The food is nice and the atmosphere is quiet and calm despite being in a busy location. This is a family business and they are operating this very well.
Delightful place, especially if you are a true fan of English Breakfast! Together with my partner, we came to the place around lunchtime, but we craved more breakfast food. The lovely waitress Janice (if I remember your name correctly, if not truly apologise) called the chief with a question if they can still serve us some breakfast menu, and they did! I do appreciate that as it was superb delish! I can easily recommend the restaurant as service was also beyond expectation!
Hajim he is very friendly and kind!! And the cafe looks really clean and tidy well especially toilet was clean clean clean!! We were looking for coffee places in new years day so it was so lucky to find this amazing place!! Latte was so good as well and desert ????????????????????????

I recently visited Vanston Cafe, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The coffee and teas were exceptional, a testament to the care that goes into their selection and preparation. Hazem, the owner, was not only a master of his craft but also incredibly warm and friendly. It's a place where quality meets a welcoming atmosphere, and I highly recommend it to all coffee and tea enthusiasts.
We came at a busy time. Staffs tried their best to give us best service. Food was quite nice.
4.5 overall. Lovely upstairs seating area to take in the autumnal vibes. The staff are trying which is nice to see. Will return.
