Daniel Arthur was very thorough and knowledgeable. He helped put me at ease regarding the blood work and the nurse who administered it was very helpful as well. She kept me calm, allowed me to lay down rather than sit upright, had ice packs ready to go, and gave me some apple juice afterwards even though I brought my own smoothie. She made it quick and pretty painless so I didn't really think about it too much and before I knew it I was done. They let me relax for 20-30 minutes afterwards before I drove back home. This was one of the easiest blood draws I've done in recent years. I've been rushed at the lab which led to me nearly passing out but here they really took their time and made me feel comfortable. Very kind staff here as well
I was in need of a few stitches and called ahead to see if they had staff capable of suturing my forehead, which they assured me they did. After an hour wait the front desk said the 'provider' refused service, directing me to a hospital ER for which I was just whacked with a huge bill. Today I called my insurance company to discuss my experience and they said they never decline service. As it turns out the 'provider' was not my insurance provider, the 'provider' was a member of Valley Medical Group's medical staff. Never had such a poor experience at a local walk-in clinic. Looking at other reviews I see that I'm not the first to be declined service by their rude staff. Go to City MD instead...they're always great.
I would give 0 stars if I could. I visit the hospital for my annual physical checkup. Doctor asked me about any issues that are bothering me. I mentioned fatigue and hair loss thinking this will help suggest the correct bloodwork which is usually included. The doctor didn’t even touch my hair and gave me information about alopecia which I knew I didn’t have. When the bill came in it turned out they had charged me for 2 visits instead of 1 and I had to pay $108 usd just because I answered the doctors questions. It’s the most ridiculous thing I have encountered. I have paid the bill but I will make sure I tell every single person I know to never visit this hospital. Please do not ever go to this place. The doctors are deceitful.
I had taken a TB shot on friday and I had to come back on monday for results. I was late, by my mistakes I went to the wrong valley medical group and they told me they could not help me and it must be at the proper location. I was told that my appointment needed to be rescheduled for next friday. I just got my results and it took less than 1 minute to check my arm and finish my results. All the nurses are lazy idiots for not taking me the first time and wasting my time. This company is pathetic, should go down the drain.
Waited over an HOUR for an online telehealth appointment. When the dr finally logged in she was rushed and rude. Dismissed my symptoms and acted like I was wasting her time. Never again will I use this practice or any dr in it. Very mismanaged
Terrible experience, had a cut on my foot due to a grinder accident, on the phone they said they would look at it and have ability to provide emergency treatment and stitch it if necessary, then when I got there they did not even bother to look at it, wasted my time and told me to go to an emergency room at a hospital! What is this place anyway??? Uninformed staff gives conflicting information, they should change their name to “no-care”. Went to CityMD, got the proper treatment with pleasant staff and nurses, they are in Hamburg Tpk, save yourself the hassle and go to CityMD.
This place is at top of my NOT TO GO LIST. Hopefully never again. Especially if you have some health problem :) ‘Urgent care’ and ‘walk ins are welcome’ is just a sign. They never welcomed us. Especially the receptionist and the reception staff are extremely careless and rude. They made my wife waited about an hour in pain without seeing a doctor. They welcomed some patients at the door while we were waiting. They could simply remove that walk ins or urgent care sign. I trusted this place because I saw Valley Medical Group Name but it turned out this place has nothing to do with other Valley Medical Group places I have been before. They added her visit to system but them they removed her name from the list most probably not to give her an access to review our visit with Valley Group System.
Rude staff, not at all patient service oriented. Namesake for Valley Medical group, because if they cant help with any services that they offer, if your PCP is at another Valley Medical Group’s offices.
