We'd decided to try for lunch, and I'm glad we did! There was not a wait, so we were sat right away. The guacamole and chimichangas were awesome! The queso was a little thin, but still very tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were fair for the large portion sizes!
Wow! Such delish food, especially the fajitas. The price for 3-meat fajita platter for the well seasoned amount you can’t beat ($15 for one-meat fajita entree but for $3 more at $18 you get all three: chicken, steak and shrimp)
The hibiscus tea is Devine as well. Definitely a different taste— if you’ve never had it before they are very friendly to give you a sample to try. Although the quesadillas are half the size for the same price of Danny’s Ice Cream quesadillas, they are still good too. For the flauttas those seem to be just as delicious. It’s such a cute little place to have a local date; not over bearing, noisy or obnoxious. The staff are friendly and all of them are relatives/family friends. I live in the small town deleon so let me be the first to tell anyone who isn’t from here that we are blessed to have such upscale food available at unbeatable price! By the way thank you all (family of Danny’s ice cream) for what you do and the hard work you put in so that I can proudly compliment your restaurants! Dios lo Bendiga ∞︎︎ッ
Things must have really changed in past few months because I've never had Mexican food this bad besides taco Bell. Steak in fajitas was cooked till it was beef jerky. Taco shells were burnt. Rice & beans were barely warm. On top of this they changed us $3 for two flour tortillas that should have been included in the $18 fajitas. I can't believe the rave reviews this place gets.
We stopped for tacos on a whim for lunch and the place was above and beyond our expectations. Everything we had was delicious. Ended up getting more tacos to go. Great people. Great tacos.
Delicious! We came with a group of 10. Had the guacamole to start and they brought a Verde salsa too. Chips warm & fresh. Guac fresh & delicious. I had the flautas and they were very good.
Note they weren't serving any alcohol, including beer when we went.
It did take some time to get the meals to all 10 people so we weren't all eating at the same time, but we didn't really mind as we chatted with each other throughout.
Make sure to try these folks out!

Steak fajitas were excellent. No complaints about any of the food.
Service was so bad, it was sort of bizarre.
Waitress was nice enough, but everything was running in slow motion.
Sat down, place was nearly empty. There was only one other couple in the restaurant. Probably near 10 minutes before the waitress came over and asked about drinks, we ordered at that time also. Another 5 minutes before our drinks showed up. Chips and salsa showed up around 5-10 minutes later.
The wife's meal was served probably another 15 minutes after that.
I sat and watched her eat and I waited.......
I watched her finish her meal and stack her plates, and I waited......
Then we both waited for about another 5 minutes before my meal showed up. Now it was my wife's turn to watch me eat, while she waited.....
No apologies or explanation, apparently just business as usual, because I saw the other couple and also another couple that came in after us experience the exact same thing.
It was so bad, it was sort of funny.

Delicious Mexican food!!! Highly recommend!!! They have take-out also. Run by a super-nice, likable young couple and friendly staff. Everything I have tried so far has been exceptional! I am working my way through their menu.
As close to a perfect guac as I've ever had. Esa agua fresca de Tamarindo me recordó a mi bella Guatemala. The green sauce that came with the chips was truly remarkable. Got hungry on the way to Gainesville, and luckily ran into this gem of a place. Clean, tastefully decorated, and great service. They told me that their cuisine is from Guerrero, Mexico. Guerrero is now on the map as a vacation destination.
