Wonderful atmosphere and fantastic staff. Food was incredible! Nichole did such a great job and really all the staff running food worked so quickly and were very polite. We had heard good things about this place and finally had the chance to eat here ourselves. We had to order a variety of things because the entire menu looked amazing. We'll definitely be back to try another bunch of items we couldn't fit on the table this time around. Do NOT skip out on dessert, it's a highlight to our overall incredible meal. Staff was very accommodating to our 2 small children. Absolutely superb experience!
Our daughter celebrated a St. Patrick’s Day birthday yesterday and our lunch was perfect! It was our first time at VAI’s Restaurant. Our server was Elias and he was great! Very kind, helpful, and fun. My personal favorite is that he was attentive and didn’t come by too much so that I can stuff my face with food. And, the food was SO GOOD! My family and I enjoyed the Chicken + Avocado Melt, the VAI’s Prime Burger, the Four Cheese wood-fired pizza and the Chicken Parmesan. Everything was SO DELICIOUS and cooked to perfection! I especially loved the rigatoni and parmesan cream sauce with my Chicken Parmesan. My red wine Sangria was awesome! The White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake was so fluffy and flavorful. We usually have cheesecakes that are so filling and rich so this was a breath of fresh air. We also enjoyed the Strawberry and Vanilla Gelato and the Grasshopper Pie desserts! My daughter shared the Grasshopper Pie that was given to her for her birthday and we loved it. It was a great surprise and we thank you all so much for making her birthday lunch so special! Great staff + great food = excellent restaurant!
Tried this restaurant on a Friday night. The restaurant was super busy. We had prior reservation so I would recommend to have it done in advance rather than walk in. We started off with Crispy Eggplant Fritti and Campari Tomato + Burrata Caprese which were just delicious. For mains, we then had Zucchini Aglio Olio and Lobster + Shrimp Rigatoni which were tasty as well.
Our server was super polite, warm and friendly. This restaurant is family owned. The ambiance was great.

Vai's Italian kitchen is by far our most favorite place in the Naperville/Aurora/Plainfield area. The food quality is like one of the finer downtown Chicago restaurants quality. Their covered patio with firplace is a treat to sit and enjoy meals. The service is always excellent. One thing that we would like to say is that bring Mushroom Sachetti back, it's our all-time favorite! The desserts were delicious, too! If you're looking for a quality dining experience, Vai's must be at the top of your list in and around the Naperville area!
My whole family loves it here! They have the best food and drinks! Service is always amazing! We always ask for Tessa. She is attentive and friendly. Ambiance is great! You always feel at home! Wish I lived closer. I’d dine here every week!

Vai’s is my favorite Italian spot. This place is pure class and a spot you want to take your time at and enjoy. The staff is welcoming, professional, and informative and the menu is perfection. Pictured is the Spicy Chicken Tortellacci, the single most delicious Italian dish I’ve had and it’s $$ every time!! If you haven’t stopped here yet, you should!
Eva was our server and she was so sweet! She offered great suggestions. Our food was phenomenal. Drinks were delicious.
