Talk about a family-friendly location! V Pizza is very casual. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. They have an expansive beer selection on tap. The best part, for the kids anyways, is the outdoor seating and play area.
This pizza was terrible. It tasted like if they made it in a collapsing salt mine. It is SO SO SO SALTY. God. And... the pizza either has No sauce or all of it. The drinks are small which would be fine if the pizza wasn't so salty. Got up at least 5 times to refill my drink. Plus the basil was so fresh it felt like I was chewing on leaves straight out their ugly trees. The crust was basically paper and burnt. The "playground" was 2 normal and baby swings and I found a plank of wood with rusty nails laying on floor. 1 star. Left Hungary even after eating 7 slices ????????????
Food and service was very very good. Been here about 50 times and it has always been consistently good. Great location with TVs and live music on the weekends. Best pizza in Jacksonville in my opinion.
If Pizza sounds like a good idea then V Pizza is the place to be. Italian Wood burning Ovens and Italian flower produce the best pizza in town. The bar has hundreds of beers and there's a playground for the kids in the back. Go ????????????????????????
I still don’t really see the hype of this place. The Margherita pizza that everyone loves so much was so soggy even tho their crust was crunchy. it didn’t make any sense. Their bruschetta was okay. - needed more seasoning. I wish they would use actual toasted bread. Wings were good, i’ve had better.
Visiting FL and asked family where to go for pizza. This was my 1st time at V Pizza. I'm from Jersey and had a lot of pizza. This place is the best around experience. Food came fast with lots of toppings. The kids pepperoni pie had as much pepperoni as other pizzerias on there large pie. The music by Bill Ricci was mellow rock at a comfortable volume. Music with the ability to talk without shouting. I wish they open one in Scottsdale AZ.

So I’m late to the game. I tried V’s Pizza for the first time about 6 months ago. First stop was at the Fleming Island location, and I was instantly hooked! From the food to the history, the beautiful ovens from Italy, the beer selection and atmosphere, I could go on and on. But what I absolutely LOVED the most was their chicken pesto Caesar salad and literally craved it daily since, which is why my last visit at this location it was a total bummer. Ordered my salad that I absolutely can’t wait for and we also ordered the white all cheese pizza. Salad was ready before we even sat down or got our drinks. Pizza came out shortly after. We were just 1 of a few people in at the time so the wait for anything was very minimal. First bite and instantly I knew something wasn’t right. Took a closer look and realized the chicken looks strange and definitely NOT their pesto chicken. Next bite was chewy grissly chicken so I asked the server/expo about it and said this isn’t what I ordered. That’s when I got the terrible news, they no longer have the pesto chicken and in its placed use a pre cooked, I think I was told “grilled” chicken. It is horrible. Paid almost 15$ for some romaine and cheese salad. The pizza also had issues, it was completely undercooked and soggy. The best part of the night was the Bingo folks, as we did win 2x, but I didn’t come to play Bingo, I came to eat that amazing salad!!!!
The Beer selection is great, the dough is made on spot. The wood fire pizza is awesome. The ingredients are fresh. Great Beer selection and family friendliness is on point. If your looking to get a cheese Pizza meal for under $30 this is not your place. Expect to pay about $50 for 2 kids pizzas and one adult pizza including drinks.
