Avoid for your safety. They have dangerous dogs loose outside the front door of the farm shop.
It appears to be the owner or staff's dogs who attacked both myself and my own dog.
The two jack russells were unrestrained and unattended on a bed next to the front door of the shop which is open to the public. (It should also be noted that there is a very busy main road right outside of the gate which is wide open for these unwatched dogs to run out of) I had just gotten my father's wheelchair out of the car and seeing no signage prohibiting dogs, I went to get my own dog out of the car. As soon as he touched the ground I realised the two jack russells had snuck up behind me because they started barking and biting my dog.
I tried to get them to back off and was yelling for someone to come get their dogs. I turned back to pick up my dog and felt one of the terriers bite the back of my calf, so I had to turn back to keep them away only to see a woman meandering her way towards us. Not even bothering to call her dogs, so I shouted to get her dogs and her response was "Don't shout at me, you should have looked before getting your dog out." As if I was unaware of her dogs existence previously. Given that there were two off leash dogs sat on a bed unattended outside of a business that is usually dog friendly I thought it would be a reasonable assumption that it was a safe place for my dog and I, not to mention my paraplegic father. She still did not apologise and just picked up the dogs, sneered at me and went back inside the shop.
To be clear, I was lucky to be wearing jeans, this was not a nip but a proper bite and if that is your child it could be a hospital trip.

Stopped on the way to Chippenham. Had a ranging hangover and needed a drink. Good selection and really reasonable prices.
Lovely produce. Nothing quite like a well stocked farm shop, some items a bit pricey, but i would definately recommend this shop

We popped in here again to get some fruit and a few other bits, the shop is not very big but has a good selection of produce, from bread, cakes, meats and all sorts you don’t normally see in a normal supermarket, and of course all the fruit and veg is organic,a lot of it is grown in the surrounding area,as Bromham is well known for its growing of its potatoes and vegetables,so if your passing pop in and have a look, there will be lots to tempt you especially the bread they sell you have a good choice....????
Called before heading across from other side of Devizes to see, if they had curly kale; 'yes we have' - arrived 20 mins. later to find floppy, discoloured kale on the shelf. When I mentioned it to the shop woman, she seemed to have taken it very personal and handled the matter unfriendly and unprofessionally, but managed to fetch some fresher leaves from the store and didn't even hand them acoss to me. Just grumbled 'they didn't cut me any this morning'.
Grumpy old wrench needs some customer service training before I make that journey to come back!
