First of all, I stumbled on this best kept secret. I was attracted to this modern and chic decor restaurant. Uptown Kitchen score an A+ for customer service. Moreover, I was greeted immediately which made me feel welcomed. I was seated outside in the balcony area where the weather was nice as well. The food was savory and tasty. I love that they have brunch everyday. I will definitely refer my family and friends to UPTOWN KITCHEN.
Our food was awesome, It came out nice and hot. The portions are great. I needed a to go container . Christin, our waitress was great. She took great care of us. We will definitely be back. I had the chicken Alfredo pasta and added shrimp. Hubby had catfish with Red beans and rice, with a side of Collard greens.
During a rainy Sunday morning, we went in for brunch and were immediately impressed. Nae, our server, made the experience unique and memorable. Her ability to recommend dishes demonstrated her knowledge on the menu and that made our time there even better. I ordered the lobster omelette and my partner ordered the shrimp and salmon grits. I have never been a fan of grits my entire life and for the first time I can say, I LOVED Uptown’s shrimp and salmon grits. It was the perfect consistency and the blackened salmon was the perfect pair. I will definitely return when I come back into town! Thank you Nae for the experience!
Uptown Kitchen and Bar was chef’s kiss????. I FULLY recommend this establishment!!! Your belly will thank you. :) The atmosphere was very homey and inviting, the food was amazing and the portions were shareable. The only things is, you are NOT going to want to share a morsel with . I definitely recommend!!!
Went here for a girls' day brunch on Saturday. Our group of three arrived before 10:30 and lets just say it was an hour before we were seated. The staff seemed overwhelmed. Once we were seated, we were promptly greeted by the waitress and were able to order. I ordered the corned beef and hash with a well-done egg. Overall, the food was good, this won't be a go-to, but if I'm in the area and the wait isn't long, I'll give it another chance. Overall, as mentioned staff seemed overwhelmed, and it reflected in the cleanliness and ambiance. There were leftover spills and trash etc. on the floor. I'll try them again if I'm in the area and if the wait isnt long.
First timers! Great food, good service, and yummy DIY mimosa bucket ????????Ryan took us at the bar, despite being visibly busy during Mother’s day Brunch rush. Super thankful he took our two top and we got to try some delicious menu items. Can’t wait to come back with our friends.
So many good things to choose from. So, I wanted to try something out of the ordinary. Had liver and onions with gouda grits. Had Philly cheese steak egg rolls. Both were very good. Would definitely recommend. Next time will try the oxtails and gouda grits.
It's Sunday brunch time! First off, parking can be kind of tricky, but if you park in the open lot behind the gas station next door, you're okay. We had a long wait because of St. Patty's Day but it wasn't a big deal. We looked at the menu online before we were seated so we could order right away. We had the bucket of mimosas shrimp and grits biscuits and gravy and their seafood balls. Everything was great even after the long wait. They were very apologetic but we were worried. The quality of food and the service was superb.
