My old local area. Always got a buzzing atmosphere with a mixture of old school market stalls, high-end designers and an endless choice of restaurants, pubs and bars.
Love this place usually very busy but loads to see and great people to meet.
A mile long high street , shops, cafes ,galleries, antique shops, cloths etc. A cinema too.
A busy shopping street packed with shops for everything you might need or want. Many bars, restaurants as well. Conveniently located near the Business Design Center and the subway.
Great little street for all your needs
Great range of bars and restaurants, cinemas and a shopping centre, great place to chill in the evenings
Upper street, located right in the heart of Islington is a vibrant road stretching from Highbury & Islington in the north to Angel in the south, and it’s known for many pubs and restaurants, as well as tasty desert shops, and shopping. You’ll find multiple clothes shops towards the bottom of the road and in the Angel shopping centre, where there’s also a cinema and lots more. Upper Street is also incredibly well connected, not far from Highbury & Islington and Angel, as well as Essex road station just a 5-10 minutes east of Upper Street and Caledonian Road & Barnsbury located west. Upper Street is also lined with bus stops. There are also multiple parks nearby to go to! It has something for everyone!
My local high Street and it is fabulous. It has a theatre pub:The King's Head, a theatre just off Upper Street: The Almeida. A cinema: Screen on the Green and so many great restaurants and pubs. You don't need to head off to the West End as Upper Street had it all. Highbury and Islington tube one End and Angel tube at the other end.
